Had a dream of a Sonic game where you played as a robot rat girl in Amy's dress

There was an endless level thing on the Death Egg where you fought a boss with a power up that let you click and drag to catapult her

...

The boss was Maria in a tube walking around like Porky from Mother 3

After I lost (which seemed really easy btw), the Death Egg started falling, and there was an automated escape sequence where the protagonist ran through it, running down a wall while it fell and landed safely on the ground, where she promptly collapsed from exhaustion with a crack on her metal face

For her efforts, she got the Shadow Emerald. Shadow like, the character. There was a Sonic Emerald and a Knuckles Emerald.
