Herringbone-tambour!! It's a great option to have: classic tambour (surface slip stitch) can look kind of plain, and sometimes stringy and open. It dates from at least the 1700's. Do *herringbone-tambour* for a sleek, solid line. And, the double-herringbone version is more raised! In these photos: center round is the regular tambour; middle (aqua): herringbone-tambour; outer green one: double-herringbone. The purple rim is edged with herringbone-slip stitches too. In the second photo, the pink stitches on the left are regular tambour, and herringbone-tambour is on the right. . #herringbone #tambour #surfacecrochet #embellished #kreinik #chainstitch #chainembroidery #newchain #crochetchain #metallicthread #crochetclass #swatch #newcrochet #newcrochetstitch #crochetslipstitch #slipstitches #slipstitchcrochet #yescgoa https://www.instagram.com/p/CdZLusiJZLK/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
