What, 2 posts the same day? Finding a needlepoint framer who will do something besides straight lines on mattes has been difficult. Luckily, I found Dustin at Art and Frame in Murray, Utah. He said it took three tries to get the cut outs to work correctly. But it looks just like I wanted it. Although I wonder if I should have used black instead of the pale pink for the 2nd matte.

Finally finished my Lady Justice piece after 1½ months! It has a mix of dmc threads, kreinik metallic thread, and mill hill beads. Pattern by Nora Corbett/Mirabilia.

Stitched on 32ct graceful grey linen made by Witchelt from 123stitch.com

This pattern was inspired by my own spidery house. It’s in the October 2020 issue of Just Cross Stitch.

I used hand dyed Aida from Fiber on a Whim, DMC and Kreinik thread. The broom is from the Bee Company, a cool couple who live in Paris, and the hanger I found in the Tim Holtz section of fun stuff.

I’ve finally added a 4th to my Skyrim Herb series! I admittedly changed up the style a little bit, so no more 1/4 and 3/4 stitches, and much less backstitching. Buuuut. Gleamblossom is finally here!
