okay but imagine the golden sun dipping into the horizon with rays cascading across the tired waves crashing against the shore as surfer!ashton trudges through the cold, wet grains of sand in his bare feet with a turquoise- and honey-colored surfboard beneath his arm while his black wetsuit was unzipped and left his tanned torso dripping with salty ocean water and exposed that glistened beneath the orange skyline with faint stars twinkling above and his blond hair wet and wavy and clinging to his face - which glowed a bright, rosy hue - before plopping down on the beach, his elbows balancing on his knees and his chin tucked in the palm of his rough hand, to admire the setting sun as his chest rose and fell with every deep inhale while a faint smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

Hey peaceof5sos is doing a surfer!5sos and barista!5sos blurb night, so go submit/request blurbs. Barista!Luke Barista!Luke always worked on a weekend, so every weekend you would go in to get a drink just so you could see him. When he made a drink he always bit his lip in concentration and played with his lip ring. For the past few weeks you got chocolate sprinkles shaped in a heart and you two had started talking. It got to the point where he knew your order off by heart, or if you fancied a change he knew that you would choose a peach ice tea if you didn't feel like having a coffee. After speaking properly for the past few weeks you had found out that his name was Luke and you told him yours in exchange. So one day when he chased you out of the cafe shouting your name it didn't shock you that he knew your name but why he chased after you. 'You forgot to get some napkins Y/N.' He said with a shy smile. You were too stunned to say anything so you let him drop the napkins in your hand and he rushed back into the cafe. As you turned to continue down the street you realised there was some writing on the napkin. It was his number and written underneath his number was a message, 'I've enjoyed making your coffees for the past month, but maybe we could go get drinks together one time instead. Luke x'

surfer!luke loved everything about surfing. it was probably #1 on his top 3 favorite things in the world. he felt like he was on top of the world when he was riding the waves, the wind whipping through his wet hair and the taste of salt on his lips as he tumbled into the ocean with a rush of adrenaline. breaking through the water to the surface, he would always have a wide smile on his face as he gripped his board and sat up, surveying the beach and relishing in the sound of the waves crashing to the shore. one day, as he was making his way back to his beat up jeep, you stopped him and said, “hey, i was watching you surf out there and i just wanted to tell you that you’re really good”. little did luke know that from that day on, you would slowly be making your way up to #1
