Various Officers from the Legion
Okay, so there are a few characters here. So I'll post the short hand versions above the read-more (as well as their rank in the Legion), and then I'll put their bios under a read more.
It is important to note that these are only SOME of the higher ranking officers in the Legion. I do not have any Colonels or Majors created at this time, but they do exist.

General
Vlatka
Vlatka is known for his strong control of the Legion. He’s a well respected leader and usually takes an active role in the growth and development of all soldiers. His aim for the Legion is to oppose all forces that were against them - where the Light Army stands for Justice and Purity, the Legion plays on strength and determination. Vlatka's history with the Legion as a soldier and commanding officer is rather unknown, other than he enlisted around the same time Vycer, Feton, and Rei did. The four of them quickly became friends (with Vlatka being their leader), and led their cohort in strength, intelligence, and power. Vlatka received preferential treatment from the previous commanding individuals and was primed to take the role of General should anything ever happen. Before the Great War occurred, the previous General suddenly died, promoting Vlatka rather quickly and in time for the next war.
He doesn’t have a very emotional affect, and the only people that have really heard him talk (aside from his speeches at rallies) are his close Officers. Vlatka does not much care for things like the Chalice, but when Cain came with the Shadow Army seeking partnership to locate “the seed.” Initially, Vlatka viewed this as a way to make his army stronger… but will later admit that it was because he really wanted to see where things were going with Nazir.
Update (6/11) - Vlatka is fairly close with the Director of the Alliance, Decibal, and is one of the few people to have ever seen Decibal without his mask on.
Vlatka is only aware of one family member (Navarre), and has been no-contact with the remainder of his family. He has no children and no love interests.
Most soldiers like Vlatka as a General. He typically lets his commanding officers run the show, delegating only when he has to. However, Vlatka is known for being a rather strong shadow magist, and his soldiers fear his wrath.
Lieutenant General
Vycer
Vycer is one of the three Lieutenant Generals of the Legion (with Feton and Rei being the other two, who are not pictured in this post). Unlike most of the officers, Vycer is fairly kind hearted and looks out for the units he commands. He's strategic, smart, and quick thinking. Vycer enlisted in the Legion as a young adult, quickly raising ranks because of his strong psychic abilities. He quickly befriended Vlatka, Feton, and Rei, and they rose ranks together as a team, garnering the attention of their superiors. When he was promoted to be a Major, Vycer was approached by his childhood friend and ex-boyfriend, Elgret Atreyus, in an effort to take in his two youngest brothers. Vycer was hesitant in taking in two boys, as his position and job required his constant focus... but after some consideration and convincing, Vycer "adopted" Forseth and Haseo Atreyus.
Vycer plays a pivotal role in Forseth and Haseo's upbringing when they were in the Legion. When Vycer was finally promoted to Lieutenant General after Vlatka was promoted to be General, Forseth and Haseo had been not only his "adoptive" children, but recognized as his protégées. Vycer will be the first to admit that he had no idea what he was doing when it came to raising children (as he was an only child in his family), but also feared the Atreyus patriarch and wasn't sure how to protect them from him.
Vycer has only ever been interested in Elgret, and they have had a rocky relationship. Vycer spent much of his teenage years trying to convince Elgret to run away with him and to forget his family, after witnessing the abuse that Propitheus put his children through. But when he joined the Legion, Elgret formally broke up with him in an effort to try and protect Vycer from ever receiving "punishment" from his father. When Forseth and Haseo came into his care, Elgret and Vycer, once again, restarted their relationship, meeting in secret to not get caught.
Captain (Referred to as Commander)
Surry
Surry is commonly referred to as one of the youngest officers in the Legion. Surry is known for having a dry sense of humor, being very crass, and just… mean.
He’s probably the most normal sized person of the group lol
For the record, when Someone to Watch Over Me takes place, Surry is probably like… 19.
Surry’s parents were both involved in the Legion when he was younger, and both were part of the science division. Both parents specialized in magical alchemy, and were a combination of stone and earth elements. As such, Surry has an affinity for alchemy, and that is how he powers his guns. He doesn’t need an actual bullet, he just uses alchemical powers to activate it
But Surry’s guns are more than just guns… The medical and science divisions in the Legion are closely tied together and often run secret experiments on individuals. Surry’s dad was the fore-runner in running a trial on bonding weapons to mortals. There was really no reasoning behind it, but it was a means to seek control over the free will of people… and just to see if it was possible.
After Surry’s parents were brutally murdered by mercenaries (or so he thought they were), Surry went to seek solace under Dr. Cray’s care (and if you remember, Cray plays an important role with Haseo and Sisco)
So Cray took the traumatized child and bonded him to his father’s weapons… and Surry unknowingly because the first and only successful bonding experiment.
Navarre
Navarre is a soldier in the Legion known for agility and her intelligence. Unbeknownst to a lot of the Legion, Navarre is the youngest sister to Vlatka, the Commander of the Legion. She doesn't exactly tell anyone about her relation to him, as she does not want others to seek her to "befriend her" in order to win favors with Vlatka. (Vlatka is aware she is in the Legion, but doesn't exactly go out of his way to connect with her). It is safe to say that they are estranged siblings.
Navarre chooses to fight with her hands and her scythe more so than her elemental ability, leading many people to believe that she's actually a non-magical elf. (Her elemental ability is still being determined. She originally was a mind magist, but I think she was also technically water... but. I don't remember lol)
Cassi
Cassi is an officer in the Legion. I felt that I really only designed a couple of officers (Keits, Brek, and Surry), and I never designed others. Part of that was because my ex-friend had one or two characters that were officers and others that were soldiers… so here I am. Making some new officers to fill space haha I have another officer that I want to draw out… she belonged to my ex-friend, and I kinda want to have a similar character to her.
First Lieutenant
Keits
Keits is (obviously) a lycan, or a wolf-demon. He does have two forms: his humanish form and his wolf form. He’s a ground/plant element, and definitely is seen as an herbologist more so than anything else. While is strong af, he is viewed as a healer because of his familiarity with different plants
As a pup, Keits was raised in one of the major packs in the Realms, but because he is not a great white wolf, he would never raise to be a pack leader. Frustrated with being viewed as less than, he joined the Legion and rose in the ranks to prove a point.
Outside of the Army, he has his own small pack, consisting of an arctic lycan named Caibre, a small grey lycan named Nereus, and a fennec fox demon, named Noelle. The three of his pack eventually join the Legion.
Keits is also one of the few Officers that Forseth will actually talk with, and is one of the first few to find out that Crissa is Forseth’s new roommate. Keits is also super close to Surry, as he views him as part of his pack… whether Surry likes that or not. Despite Surry outranking Keits, Surry will always treat Keits as if he were a higher position than him.
Brek
Brek is a vampire who desperately does not want to be a vampire, but he’s one of the nighttime officers because the sun hurts him (Such a mood, bro)
Brek used to be a mortal until he happened to cross paths with a very hungry vampire, and ended up being turned as he pled for his life. As such, Brek has been alive for a very long time. He hides that fact, as he could be considered an Elite vampire due to his age… but he desperately does not want that. So he joined the Legion to escape the vampire legion, and his master.
Brek is 100% bisexual, and his current infatuation is with Keits, the Lycan Legion officer. They are often seen bickering and have an off-again-on-again type of relationship. He’s also close friends with Haseo, and has tried to be friends with Forseth, but gave up after Forseth dramatically announced that he doesn’t need friends.
Brek’s elemental ability is a bit strange. Technically speaking, based on the ability he does have, it would be assumed that his old mortal ability would be close to water. His ability is considered “rare” otherwise. He can “blood bend,” which is the easiest way I can explain it, but he can really only manipulate his own existing blood, or the blood he consumes. Otherwise, he has the “touch of death” ability, which is why he keeps his hands gloved at all times. Basically… if he goes skin-to-skin contact with his hands, the creature dies. Which… was unfortunate when he needed to feed initially. His “touch of death” ability has always been a part of him, even when he was human.
