Finished reading Guerrilla Warfare by Ernesto Che Guevara. The audiobook version my library has started and ended with weird jaunty music. The narrator mispronounced a bunch of common words. I got the overall impression that this is just "Sun Tzu on a budget". He said shoes and mules are the most important things to acquire, weapons should be stolen from the enemy. Guevara also denounced terrorism and said violent acts should be reserved for emeny combatants and civilians should be recruited to the cause and if they don't want to support the cause to leave them alone, because if the revolution is successful they will be your citizens and you don't want to piss them off preemptively. That makes sense to leave neutral parties alone. Another thing was that he was supportive of women participating in the revolution, though he did divide tasks in a gendered way that was a little condescending. But No Sex! It's a distraction! Lol.
Up next is Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness by Susannah Cahalan. I've been meaning to read this since it came out so I'm really looking forward to it.
