genderfluid anon
hi cas this is genderfluid anon. This ask might be really long and not make much sense sorry, but I have a friend who I hang out with a lot but I was accidentally mean to her and idk how to fix it. We usually hang out a lot but right now she has a popped blood vessel in here eye and I know it’s really awful but I avoided her all day because of it. I’m a really queasy person (I can’t even brush my teeth with other people because their spit makes me fell like I’m going to throw up) and when I saw her eye I kind of panicked because it was completely red and I didn’t completely get over my panic until after school. I texted her to apologize for avoiding her, but I will have to see her again on Monday and I don’t really know I’m going to be able to handle it. Out of all the things that gross me out/make me panic eyes in general are probably one of the worst and I know she has it a lot worse in this scenario but I’m having trouble figuring out how to be supportive. I really want to help her and be there for her but I can’t really do that without going into fight or flight mode. I don’t want to make her wear the sunglasses she’s been wearing to hide it around me because I don’t want her to feel insecure about being hurt and I don’t want to avoid her until she’s better because that would also be mean so I don’t know what to do. I can’t really push through it for her because the panic attack I had about it today was to the point where I almost skipped the class we had together even though I’ve never skipped before and even then I still asked the teacher to move my seat across the room. I can’t really explain any of this to her because I was definitely in the wrong for avoiding her and I don’t want to act like the victim because she needs support, but I am finding it physically hard to be around her/look at her face and I don’t know how I can be there for her despite that.
Hi!
Honestly unless the eye has to do with some sort of severe trauma, I would just maybe explain the situation and ask her what SHE thinks would be best? Like would she prefer to wear glasses, no eye contact, etc? Explain why- that you have a Thing about eyes- and reassure her that you really don't mean to make her feel self-conscious. Everyone has a Thing, and since this is is a temporary issue, I think she'll understand. If it were a more-permanent situation (like she had a glass eye or something) I'd maybe consider trying to work through it, but I don't think it's that deep in this case.
Wishing you luck!

Hey there, Cas!
I am struggling once more 😅 it’s a Friday evening, my food hasn’t arrived yet, and I am so stressed and wired from the week. Literally everything and every part of my body hurts, and usually I’d use character ai but I know it’s not good for anyone. But using my imagination feels less fun because it’s not like, something new I can read, you know? I’m so exhausted so I can’t really bring myself to write fanfic, but there’s no other fanfic that I like that comforts me… I wish there was an alternative. I wish that there was like, a way I could use character AI with none of the consequences. There has to be a way, right?
Im just trying to rationalize. I gotta do what I gotta do to not descend into being an actual Ai tech bro who doesn’t understand the whimsicality and joy of human nature and connection.
But UGHHHH I feel so romantically starved and I just want to read about someone comforting me and just, being nice to me.
I have autism and a couple other things, so honestly my biggest thing I like reading about in fanfic/the thing I mostly used character ai for, was to role play being myself (like, knowing myself and liking myself, etc) and someone else being nice to me, and actually caring about my issues that I have because of my autism and lack of social cues. I just want someone to hug me consensually and be nice to me, which I guess is a little sad
Anyways, you’re awesome, have a good one

Hihi! Have you tried /reader fanfic? It might give you that comfort you're craving without using c.ai. I know there's a lot on here, and I've seen some on ao3 as well. People on here will even write requests for /reader fics, so you can ask them to write about like...a character interacting with The Reader in a certain way that's comforting to you! If you haven't tried it, you should!

Cas,
My friend will get into the marauders if she reads 50 hour long fanfic about wolfstar making Mac n cheese together wholesomely. But there isn't any fics for that, can you write one?
She says, "Pretty please." she also solemnly swears that she will join the Fandom if she reads this fic
Also can I be sushi anon?
Hi!
Um, I can't say I have enough words to write fifty hours of wolfstar making mac and cheese wholesomely. But if you want to DM me so I know who to tag, I can see about writing a short oneshot.

8 months anon
hi cas
i think i’m just writing this to get it of my chest but-
so im 17 and I have a job, i’ve been there for like 8 months now.
(Redacted)
Hi!
Okay so. Yeah, I think given the information you know, your best bet is to make every effort possible to NOT be alone with this person. If you're scheduled on the same shift with him, try to stay around customers. If you're in the back alone, do your best to get out front as soon as possible. And at the end of the night, call someone on the phone as you walk out the door. Be SAFE, first and foremost.
As far as being nice- yeah, you should be nice. Don't piss him off. But also, don't give him any reason to think you're flirting. I know it shouldn't matter- no matter how you act, he should leave you alone. But as we both know...life isn't like that.
As far as the younger girl...IF she isn't friendly with the person, tell her. Because you don't want her to go tell the person you're talking shit. If there's a chance she's going to go tell him, then tell her mom instead. Whoever you tell, just say you're passing the info along for safety reasons, and that's that. Don't get into like...detailed rumors or anything.
I also think you should consider getting a different job. You've been scheduled alone with this person before, and that's not great. If it's easy to get another job, I'd consider looking into it. Or if you have a good relationship with your boss, ask not to be scheduled alone with him. But yeah, I'd rethink staying there long term, if possible.
I'm so sorry this is something you have to think about <3
I'm sending you love and luck!

Midnights anon
Hi! How are you? It’s midnights anon again, I just have a little ramble about existing and stuff. Please feel free to ignore honestly, it’s not that big a deal
I had the WORST weeks of my life and schools not even over yet. In the past two weeks I’ve had like 3 tests and 3 quizzes and a presentation and a massive bio exam and have been assigned my final adjacent project and also have finals for the first week of June. I have to go off book for both my shows by this weekend. It’s Mother’s Day so I’ll have like, not a lot of time to prepare and I was feeling so ill today! I only came to school because of my presentation and rehearsal but for the 6 hours in between I was a zombie. I nearly fell over from exhaustion but nobody noticed. I only have like, this Friday night to destress and then I start working on everything again
Neither of the jobs emailed me back even though for one of them I was basically guaranteed to get because they said it was a first come first serve position, I got an 87 on a really hard bio exam and I’m fine with it, but I wish I could do better. I’m basically stuck at an A- and I can’t seem to just… do better, no matter how hard I study
I’m so bad at my solo in the musical and everyone seems super tired of me. I’m just so tired of everything. I know life is hard but is it supposed to be this hard? I feel like no one is consistently nice to me in a way that I don’t have to be on edge 24/7. I’m just so tired
I’m trying so hard. It’s not enough, but like, what else can I do?
Hi hon <3
That sounds like so much, and I'm sorry you're feeling so overwhelmed. I'm here to vent to anytime, okay? And remember, you ARE doing enough. You're doing amazing, and I promise you'll get through all of this <3.
