GREAT season of artful dodger i must say. so much to love about it. i wasn't keeping track but i do think every episode was a bechdel test pass and what a SHOW.

fox family dynamics soooo choice. lady jane the complex matriarch whose husband loves his children but is an incompetent dud as a governor, who is running the entire town with no actual station to show for it, constantly fending off her blackmailing shithead of a brother-in-law, trying to protect her daughters in ways that are consistently misguided and occasionally cruel but even then, especially with the reveal at the end, still trying to have belle's best interests at heart, though she goes about it wrong. fanny doing accidental murder and then turning to crime without a second thought and absolutely THRIVING in that life. belle rebelling against the restrictions placed upon her by her mother but also unaware of just how privileged she is, and the stark relief of the socioeconomic disparity that she represents when she's temporarily disowned and forced to see and discover how jack has been living. I MEAN IT'S ALREADY DELICIOUS

AND THE HOSPITAL TEAM HELLO!!! sneed and jack's fascinating dynamic, where sneed knows jack is a better doctor, but is also his superior, and is also a misogynist and something of a traditionalist, but also ALSO is able to see past that to acknowledge that belle and jack are two of the best surgeons he's ever seen, and though he doesn't always make the right call, you can always see how and why he winds up making the call he does. plus god HETTY the absolute legend who cares deeply for jack and belle but is also a highly competent and well-trained nurse, who repeatedly supports belle in particular, who makes sure people are taken care of and always approaches a patient with skill and empathy. who knows how good she is and will not be told otherwise, but who is competent without being a stone-cold bitch, and when jack tells her she's one of the best things about that place, he's fucking RIGHT.

even inspector boxer being an actual detective and a stand-up guy and misjudging jack but then apologizing for it when he realizes he was mistaken, who is never an option for belle because as decent as he is, she just doesn't love him, but how boxer is never put off about that, is never an asshole, and it's not just because he's still grieving his late wife (although he is!!), he just understands that you don't choose who you love, and he still has immense respect for belle, and actually behaves as if he believes that all people are innocent until proven guilty. i mean come ONNNNNN. not even getting into fagin's new gang. season 2 hit it out of the park

Walt Disney Company says technology at California theme park will prevent fraud and streamline re-entry

At certain entrance lanes, a camera will capture images of visitors, which can be converted via biometric technology into unique numerical values, according to the Walt Disney Company’s website.

Ostensibly, the technology could be used to determine whether someone had already entered the park, and to crack down on potential annual pass sharing.
