Mirendi was crouched in the Swamp, contentedly making algae balls to throw at the batsquatch boys, when she heard a “Squelch” then a “Splop!” sound coming from the bank. A very large Food emerged from the water and eyed her with mild surprise and stern suspicion. Mirendi was delighted! She’d never eaten a Food like this before. The Food was in a hurry, but Mirendi lurched at it, and before it could skitter out of her grasp, she was gracefully and comfortably perched atop it. It was a Food adventure! She didn’t know where they were going, but that was okay.
