i don't know if they ask you already, but, i was wondering if you know or watch The Colony, i wanted to start it but i don't know if it's any good or worth it and maybe you knew about it and had some intel seeing that there's Sarah Wayne Callies and i know you like her so maybe you know the show (I think it was you, was that you that likes her? or am I confusing you with someone else?)

I do love Sarah and I have watched Colony! I love that show. I'm just waiting for season 2 to finish airing because I don't have the patience to wait between episodes when writing is that good. There's a scene on that show that I think is one of the best partner acting scenes of the last 5-10 years. Easily. If you go through my Colony tag you'll find the rant I went on about it. Sarah has always been one of the best actresses in her age range and this series is showcasing every single one of her abilities brilliantly.

Have you watched Colony? It has Josh H. and Sarah Wayne in it and if you have is it worth a watch? Just wondering since the concept is pretty cool and the two leads are amazing.

I have! I’ve actually talked about it before on here. I think SWC has always been one of the best actresses in her age range. I’ve been saying that since the Prison Break days so for over a decade now. I will always watch anything she is in because watching her perform never fails to be a treat.

This scene between Will and Kate may be one of my favorite acted TV scenes in the last 5 - possibly even 10 - years. [SPOILERS GALORE! This is from the episode before the season finale so don’t play it it if you plan to watch the show.]

That full scene is just...a director’s dream. The layers she’s playing are ridiculous. I think the writing on the show is spectacular and the acting is really great from the whole ensemble. Definitely a sci-fi show I would recommend. Season 2 just started but I’m going to wait until the whole thing is out so I can binge it. I couldn’t wait between episodes. I can’t wait to see where they go with it after all the shit the went down in the finale.

We ended up compromising on Colony because I love both Sarah Wayne Callies and Josh Holloway and she could still get her eye candy. Needless to say she was out cold before we got halfway through the episode but whatever because this show is fantastic. The writing is on point, the VFX is pristine, they have some gorgeous lighting, and Sarah/Josh as a leading pair are incredible. Honestly, Sarah is and has always been one of the best actresses in her age range. We got some breathtaking performances out of her in this pilot. I’m pretty sure I’m going to love this show because that was definitely one of the best sci-fi pilots I’ve watched in the last year.

also i noticed you post triggers and i was wondering if maybe you could add something related to arachnids/spiders, bc i love the horror genre but i have severe arachnophobia anything with a significant or close-up shot gives me anxiety

I really want to get back into posting trigger warnings but it’s very time consuming and difficult, especially to edit all the movies already posted. I was thinking of trying to find a way to get help from you homies that follow the blog like if you have seen a movie posted and know of some triggers you could send them in or something along those lines. What do you all think? I’m also still trying to nail down a list of triggers to watch for so if you can help there too please feel free to message in! I’m always trying to make this blog better, thank you all for following!
