These pants have shrunk so much I can taste the zipper.

It's positively stupid how in love I am with Molly Lewis and her songwriting.

I hope that you forget about your MySpace I hope it slips completely from your mind And I hope it stays up long enough for the next generation to find And I hope that it embarrasses your children I hope their bratty friends all forward it around And I hope that you forget your password So you cannot take it down - MyHope, Molly Lewis
Sorry Molly, your kids will never find your MySpace because starting today the website you once knew, MySpace Classic, is dead. "New Myspace" (no more capital S) has officially launched, branding itself as a social music discovery platform with the support of Justin Timberlake. Today also marks the release of Myspace for iOS, a free app featuring user-crafted radio stations and a GIF maker.
They've come a long way. Chris Vanderhook, Myspace co-owner, admits "We pay a lot of attention to what the sentiment is toward the brand, and when we acquired MySpace we were at over 90% negative. But if you look on Twitter today, it's over 80% positive. And we're not doing any marketing — just focusing on product that serves the artist community."
The timing might be just right. Facebook is falling out of favor with teens; and, while Tumblr is on the rise, it's more of a blogging platform than anything else. Maybe the new social network we need is an old one?
Note: If you still want to be friends with Tom, he's active on Google+.
