I was tagged by byrdiegrey. How did you know I can’t resistthese things? Sorry for the delay. This nursing student was swamped during theweek. Here’s to some really random, wildy wacky facts about me:
Nickname: I usually say I don’t have a nickname. This is because my name is tricky to say so my friends and family will go to great lengths to make sure you say my name right. After that, you have learned to say my name so well you won’t call me by anything else. I do have friends that call me Jo. My professors generally call me Wilson and the students I don’t will follow their lead. But other than that no nickname.
Orientation: Straight (asexual? Lol. I often wonder!)
Time and date at current moment: 2/5/2015 9:40 AST
Lucky number: Good question. I don’t know.
Last thing I googled: Ciswoman to verify the meaning
First word that comes to mind: Suspense
One place that makes me happy: That’s hard! One place? The forest that surround the school at night with the coquí chirping and a warm tropical breeze under the starry sky. I walk there to think, relax and pray. I was there tonight actually.
How many blankets I sleep under: One. A medium thick one in the winter and my little traveling blankie in the summer. It gets hot on this little island.
Fictional character: Ricia, a character in all my novels.
Book: To ask a booklover this question is blaspheme! I’ll tell you the last good book I read. Marko in Papiamentu a random language on a tiny island in the Caribbean. It gave me a new perspective to read that gospel in another language.
TV show: I don’t watch TV! Does Kid President count?
Favorite beverage: I drink beverages so rarely, but when I do I enjoy a good fresh lemon grass tea drowned in honey.
Last movie I saw in theaters: Grand Canyon IMAX® Movie. Almost forgot about that! That was epic.
Favorite holiday: Sabbath! Especially when it’s filled with good music, the thoughtful spoken word, drama, nature, friends, family and service.
Dream wedding: I’m still thinking about that. I would love a big wedding with all my friends, but then I’m the type of person who has many friends with whom I interact in little circles that don’t really intersect. I know I would love the colors to be aqua, for my grandma to be there and the bridal party to a least consist of my three best friends.
Dream job: I don’t know. Perhaps, be a community organizer or a mom in a cozy house were friends, family and strangers could always find food, love and fellowship. Where I could teach people to take charge of their health, minister to their spiritual needs and/or stimulate them mentally.
