Double Agents Can’t Afford to Be Sleepy

I know that in Rebels Recon the behind the scenes discussion spoke of wanting to do more of this episode through Kallus’ POV, but that it was just really hard to do and render.  They didn’t even have a different model for him in any other getup, like sleepwear, but I just like to headcanon that he’d been too drained to even strip out of his uniform and armor - only meant to shut his eyes and breathe for a second, but passed out on his bunk and was abruptly awakened by the alarm klaxons.  

Groggy Kallus is groggy. For like...the most infinitesimal of moments. Then he blinks and BOOM. Agent on board. But, oh for that moment (HOW DID I MISS THIS THE FIRST TIME), he was completely vulnerable and weary .... oh, just dammit all. (S3: E16:  Through Imperial Eyes)  I want to hug him.

For real tho, this has been a long time coming and I’m sooooooo sorry it took so long :’(  Meldy is one of the coolest people I’ve met on this Hell site and, even though I don’t personally ship Ezrabine, nobody can deny that she’s made one of the absolute cutest AUs this side of the galaxy!  Much love and respect to you @meldy-arts!

I ain't leaving. I'm not running from this. And I'm not gonna stop speaking up. This is the fandom, not the show. Dave Filoni did us a goddamn favour by putting not one, but three brown humans as the MAIN HUMAN LEADS IN THIS SHOW. You can try and erase that with your light-skinned fanart and your moodboards and toys but nothing will ever take away the fact that Lothal is in fact an ancient city in Gujarat, that Ezra's mother was called Mira and his cover name is Dev. That his neighbour was Mr. Sumar and his parent's friend. That both him and Ryder Azadi have Asian names, Asian faces. Nothing will take away the fact that Sabine's family are all played by Indian actors and actresses and Sabine had an Asian cover name - Rhea Tala. That Dave Filoni and Pablo Hildago have confirmed that they are of Asian origin if they were in our world. I for one am going to continue to call out this bullshit by members of the fandom AND from Lucasfilm, no matter how uncomfortable it makes y'all feel. I would like to see myself and my people represented onscreen, not a Fair and Lovely disgrace. You can "don't care" all you want but please don't deny our existence. We are here, we are slowly taking over your outer space, your Star Wars and Star Trek and MCU. We exist, thank you very much. Get used to us.
