"Where are the controls?" Great question! They're sold as separate detached consoles, which is universally acknowledged to be a terrible idea. Hoverchair users almost always attach them to their chairs somehow.
Okay so I have rework slightly on my previous character sheet for Star Wars. Same as the previously, it have made as an help to develop your original star wars character, but also canon etc... I use it to put down all my ideas for a character, as well than picking up some ideas to develop an OC whith competence than I wasn't thinking of before (like picking up details for an unusual weapon, or crafting skill etc)... Of course the sheet isn't fully complete, there is a lot of hobbies, skills, personnality trait that I haven't put there, but please, please, feel free to add anything you wish, or MP me if you have more idea to add or anything to correct! At the start of the game, yes. According to the SWTOR Encyclopedia (which is on a wonderful person's Google Drive), the age of Torian is listed as 18, but a dev at some point clarified that the age of the crew member is when they join you in game. Torian doesn't join until 3642 BBY/Chapter 2 of the BH story. Therefore, when you first see him in Chapter 1/3643, he's only 17. That's why when you at various reference sites, his birthyear is listed as 3660 BBY, not 3661 BBY.
Well it's not really a character sheet, but an ultra reference for your star wars character. It can be a good base to develop an original character with who you want to roleplay with, or draw/write about it etc.

I have not really developped the personnality trait because my brain is chaotic so you can add whatever you want. Same, I have focus on the Force ability because there is a specific technics, but you can develop non-force abilities by yourself. Don't be afraid to mention your character is using poison dart, or anything you want.. Just play with the sheet and add or delete what you want!
So back before I learned about blocking ads, like, ages ago, pre-xkit I think, this crossed my dash and at the time, I thought of Han Solo right? From the OT? But guys.

The other thing to remember is that, by ROTJ, so much of Vader was machine, there wasn't much organic left. That may have also affected it... which is something that I have discussed at length with my other lore-nerd friends. =D

As far as I understand - which is not very far at all - it's something to do with both how closely attuned they are to the force and how ready they are to relinquish their physical form at the moment of death. Obi Wan has been ready to go for years, and has probably planned that moment for a while. Yoda too, has no need to remain as a physical being and is super in tune with the force so just drifts off. And Luke too, I suppose.

Also, SPOILERS! :P (I still haven’t seen TLJ, though don’t worry; I have heard enough that I sort of expected that.)
There’s not nearly enough information about how the military works outside of what we learned from the trooper storyline (which seems to be pretty unique in it of itself) so I thought I’d do some worldbuilding. I tried combining the general sci-fi “MILITARY ACADEMY TEACHES YOU EVERYTHING” concept with some info that @inquisitorhotpants provided about IRL marines to try to make something cohesive. Maybe.
Republic Military Academy:
Recruits are generally accepted at the age of 18 for humans, or whatever equivalent age qualifies as an adult for a particular species. Though it is subject to change based on the decisions of the Supreme Chancellor and the Galactic Senate (particularly during wartime), at the moment, there is no official draft and recruits are sufficient to keep the military running smoothly.
Those joining specify whether they are joining the Army or Navy as soon as they submit their forms and transitioning is rare but can be done under certain circumstances. All other specializations occur later during their time at the Academy. Note: Those looking to join the Strategic Information Services go through an entirely different process, only distantly related to military service.
Upon entering, recruits undergo basic training for a year at the main branch of the Republic Military Academy located on Coruscant, focusing on general combat, survival, and other skills necessary for all members of the military, though with specialization towards land or space combat. At the end of the year, trainees are shipped off-world to various training camps for several weeks where they get more hands-on experience and prove their readiness.
After completing their time at boot camp, the trainees get more specialization. Those who wish to focus on Intel or communications return to Coruscant to finish their training while all others continue on for specialization in other branches of the Academy, with different locations depending on focus. This is also when trainees are evaluated for special designations such as SpecForce.
Those who do not participate in any advanced training receive their assignments and report to their stations with the rank of private.
Those who have received special designation or wish to participate in advanced training may continue into specialized courses and training with focus on a variety of advanced topics, including advanced recon, explosives technician, medical specialization, search and destroy, etc. Upon completion of these courses, they receive their ranks (usually higher enlisted ranks) and assignments.
