I'm for sure wrong but I really think that Anya's signature spikes are worn as an accessory because she may not know how to recreate the spikes her mother made in her hair, so she wears them as a memory of her mother.

about chapter 111 (might be digging too deep with this one lol)

so. I've read the new chapter in two languages, one of them being english, (the other one being russian) and there's definitely a difference I'm interested in between them in one particular line.

This one.

"Wouldn't it be nice if we could soar through the sky like that?"

In russian, the line is "It's a pity we can't fly like they can."

Of course.. this could mean nothing, just a difference between translations, but... I'm not insane for thinking that those two lines seem to have a different tone between them?

The english one is more casual and dreamy (?), it's something that everyone thought at one point, because yea, obviously it would be super cool if we could just fly like birds or butterflies rather than spending cash money to fly on airplanes.

And as for the russian one. Call me insane, but those dresses they're both wearing look an awful lot like a patient's dress. And if, they actually were being held in that laboratory, then the russian translation would line up perfectly. "It's a pity we can't fly like they can..." "...If we could, we would be able to leave."

again, realistically this means absolutely nothing and im probably reaching too far with this but I just wanted to mention this. I think differences between translations are interesting, although again, the only version that would matter plot-speaking, would be the japanese one as it's the original.

It was..... short.

Super short.

But buuuuuttttttt.... we get a glimpse of Anya's biological mom. And Anya really looks like her 😭😭😭😭

However, it was also concerning that the wardrobe they used, despite it looks really alike and their hairdo too..... it was looks like a hospital gown.

Or, an experimental subjects?

Plus.... the sentences by Anya's mom, their longing to be free...

I thought their wardobe and hairdo were somekind like a custom culture from far away country, or a long lost kingdom. But no. One of my discord moot pointed out the details.

They were trapped inside a lab. 😭😭😭

Goodness... just 3 pages, and Endo slayed my heart 💔💔

This similarity of Anya and her Mama is making me thinking absurd idea that Anya might be a clone or something. 😭😭😭😭

I'm not ready for Anya's backstory, but better rip the bandage fast, no?

I hope this unintentional short mission is not just going to end just like that.

Please Endo, if you want to crush my heart with Anya's backstory, just do it all at once. Don't just give glimpse of it in seperated short missions. 😭😭😭

Btw, it is interesting to note that Anya calls her biological mother as "Mama". While she calls Yor as "Haha" a way to call your mom when you were talking to other people.

It was also interesting to note that apparently Loid didn't think of "mind reading" ability as utter BS. He was at least shown to be concerned at how Yor can 'read' Anya's mind.

And was shown as glad when Yor confirms that it was mere observation of hers.

Endo. Where are you going to go from here???
