I feel like I'm going mental because am I the only one who sees what could happen?

Agent Twilight, the best spy in Westalis, is going to look into someone who's secretly killing people for a living.

There is a very predictable outcome for this.

I am not putting my money on anything, but listen. Yor lied to Loid as her true identity would scare anyone. A chapter ago we focused on how she yearns for him to accept her for her true self.

Meanwhile, Loid isn't even the guy's name. He's also secretly a scary guy. Both of them are scary, as well as scary for "the greater good". Yor is worried Loid would reject her, while Loid is exactly the same as her. One chapter later, almost back to back, Loid decides to investigate her and she admits she loves him.

If and only if Loid discovers her, he's going to discovers she's just like him—a thing he never even considered was possible. And while discovering that, he'll discover that person loves him. (God. Hear my prayers). As Miraculous taught us, this probably won't happen. However, these two progressions happening back to back cannot be a coincidence. SOMETHING has to happen, even if small.

So, why is no one talking about this? Did I miss something? Am I delusional? I'm open to being stupid here. Am I?

So only yesterday did I catch up with the entire spy x family manga (I had a long pause after chapter 87, which i read in a volume) and OH MY GOD MY MAN. Yor finally admitting her feelings towards Loid is some good fucking shit right here, that surprised me so much actually. Not the "Yor has feelings part", but the final admission to herself AND ANYA at the same time.

I love that the manga is introducing this kinda new formula of the "one fell first, one fell harder" trope, which I would call "one realized first, one realized harder". We all fucking know both Yor and Twilight are head over heels for each other (though it's a bit complicated, since Yor has fallen in love with Loid, which is a fake personality, not Twilight) and we're all at the edges of our seats to finally see them admit it to themselves AND each other. Now we finally got to see Yor doing that, which fullfils the "one realizes first" but holy fucking moly, are we even ready for Twilight to realize that? Brother is going to have the most ultimate crash out of a lifetime, SURPRASSING the title of "one realizes harder". I think it's going to be equivalent to an atomic bomb in his mind.

So yes, yay, I'm excited about the new chapters and I'm looking forward to Twilight's crash out.

I love the quiet and calm realization Yor has that she's fallen in love with Loid. Despite being so easily flustered during physical intimacy, at the end she's mature and in-tune enough with her emotions that Yor isn't too fazed with accepting that fact. It's really only external factors, such as that the marriage started out as an act, her profession as an assassin and Loid's own feelings that she struggles with which is of course understandable, normal and nothing she can easily do much about.

But well, Twilight on the other hand is a mess of thousand different masks and a strong 'for the mission!' mentality who is so far removed from his actual feelings that on the first sign of genuine emotions, he's actually considering Fiona to replace Yor as his wife despite it going against all logic and rationality for Operation Strix - all because he is stubbornly refusing to face any of what he is feeling and I think if Twilight were to acknowledge, in any capacity whatsoever, that he became attached to his family, he would klaka klaka into his early grave.

It’s a wonder Shopkeeper puts up with this high maintenance employee. Having to send notice way in advance via carefully coded postal mail just to get this guy to pull his weight for Garden.
