Toxic workplace battle: WISE vs SSS
WISE:
No time off ever
Physical abuse (though perhaps it’s welcome if your boss looks like Sylvia Sherwood)
So much psychological intimidation that you subconsciously block out the image of your boss’ eyes
The SSS:
You’re willing to burn your own house down to drive your boss out
This is the most life changing “intel” Twilight gained on the SSS that day.
SXF MANGA SPOILERS!
i don't think there would be any animosity between twilight and yor once their real identiy gets out simply because wise and garden dont seem to be opps
WISE's main goal right now is to protect the peace between the east and the west, nothing more. no hostility towards ostania.
Garden seems to be the same, wanting to preserve the grounds of ostania and preventing war (judging by how their targets seem to be people who inflict baseless violence or try to fuel war)
even from the whole "garden accepts requests from the secret police thing" wont be a big issue because the shopkeeper clearly only looks for missions that protect ostania, and avoids missions that are essentialy the ostanian government and the secret police's dirty work
since WISE and Garden have essentially the same goals, once the identity reveal happens, they might urge twilight and yor to collaborate or something.
I recently commissioned qeanoya (on twitter) for this fanart of Sylvia Sherwood (for my new twitter avatar). She looks so gorgeous! 😍✨️
The inspo/reference is under the cut 👇🏻
Why did this guy [red 4, spy with the cap, Mercury, Sundown, whatever you want to call him] join WISE (wrong answers only)
I thought about the parallels between Loid and Anya and it just occurred to me the possibility that, like Anya, [REDACTED] wasn't the best in school, which is why his father looks a bit surprised when he tells him he needs money for books, similar to when Loid is surprised to see Anya studying on her own.
I overthought this and now it's my first long post, sorry jkfhs.
I would be really interested to see more of the wise agents other than twilight, nightfall, and Sylvia. I wish there were more named characters that had a personality. Who did Twilight train with? Who does he usually work with? Is there a version of Q in wise? I would like to know.
.
What is your full opinion about Sylvia and who do you think suits her best from the anime?
Honestly I don't have any strong feelings or thoughts about her. She hasn't had much development just allusions. She is a fun character and is very interesting.
I love the juxtaposition between her role as the handler vs her personal life falling apart as she struggles to cope with the death of her child and husband.
I hope we get a deeper look into that history as well as her past as an agent. I would love to see what wise was like pre-Twilight. Since we got a bit of info on the first war it would be nice to learn about the second one as well by exploring Sylvia.
I think the second part of you questions means romantically but I don't really have anyone for her. Crack ship wise, I like her and the shopkeeper or her and the first luitenant (fuck me I can't spell it).
These also her an that little twink in a babygirl situation but the power dynamic makes it a bit touchy for me.
Platonically, i would love to see her interacting with her agents. I have my doubts on how she would handle Fiona's crush on Twilight but I would like to see her feel conflicted with Twilight's newfound comfort. How does she feel seeing her top spy fall into the same position she was in and how does she handle those conflicting emotions? Everyone jokes that she sent him there with the purpose of getting him a family but nah I don't like that.
I will say though, after reading dandadan I am confused about her age. Seeing how much they are willing to push Seiko's appearance, prioritizing attractiveness over accuracy, it makes me wonder how much that affect her design. Much like Melinda, I find their age communicated more in their background and less in their design. Similarly, Martha is only like 64/63 but she looks well over 70. So it's weird how some characters age at a snail they one day their entire head goes grey and all their muscles loosen.
Idk you win some you lose some
