When he first looks into the guarded, vastly dark eyes of Laszlo Kreizler, he cannot bring himself to say a thing. He can feel the cold water around his ankles, rushing forward and dragging back like he is standing back on the beach. He can see the boat. *** John Moore knows Dr. Laszlo Kreizler will never love him back—so why does he keep torturing himself? (100 Theme Challenge)

It’s all his fault.
He needs to make it right.
“Leave,” Bill gasps, dragging in a breath around the clown’s iron grip. “I’m the one who dragged you all into this. I was—I’m s-s-s-sorry.”
“S-s-s-sorry,” IT mocks his stutter, cackling. His friends falter, but stay frozen in place. They stare at him, disbelieving.
***
Billy sacrifices himself to IT to save his friends.

NEW FAVORITE CLASSIC ALERT!!! Hello bookstagram! It took me longer than I expected to finish A Tale of Two Cities because of all the work that interrupted my reading but I finished it last night and I LOVED IT!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 It was a little hard to get into at first but soon I got immersed in the story, and what a story it was! There were so many unexpected things about it and it was just so beautiful and heartbreaking. I swear this is the first classic that actually MADE ME CRY like ohmygod 😭💔😭💔😭💔 I totally get why my babies Will and Tessa love this book. AND SYDNEY CARTON WHY 😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️ This is definitely a book I can see myself rereading when I get the chance. *FANGIRL FEELS* 😊❤️📚 #books #bookquotes #bookquote #quotes #ataleoftwocities #sydneycarton #classics #classic #read #fave #bookstagram #bookphotography #fangirl #charlesdickens
“Quando fu fatto entrare il marito, ella gli diede uno sguardo così animoso, così incoraggiante, così pieno di ardente amore e di pietosa tenerezza, e inoltre così intrepido per lui, che il sangue smarrito gli tornò sul viso, gli ravvivò lo sguardo, gl'infuse una gran forza in cuore. Se qualche occhio avesse osservato l'influsso dell'occhiata di lei su Sydney Carton avrebbe veduto esattamente lo stesso effetto.” - Racconto Di Due Città
"I see a beautiful city and a brilliant people rising from this abyss, and in their struggles to be truly free, in their triumphs and defeats, through long years to come, I see the evil of this time and of the previous time of which this is the natural birth, gradually making expiation of itself and wearing out," - Sydney Carton (Charles Dickens)
