Artemis is the apple of the Syndicate's eye.
Philza loves his goddaughter so much, and while he definitely isnt thrilled about her other dad, he is willing to ignore that fact because she is genuinely one of the cutest babies in existence. Shes a spitting image of Techno, except her fucking green ah eyes. They're like eyes of ender. She makes it work tho.
Also Niki and Ranboo are literally always fighting to hold her during meetings. You think Techno has a day of peace? Nah, his little freak of a mentee is in this livingroom making baby nosies at his daughter. Niki is trying to feed her a little cake even though "no niki, shes like 3 months old, she cant have that yet, we're not at solids!!"
Techno is the biggest victim of spacing out and just staring at his baby. He didnt except to be all that affected, and hes very awkward, dw, but hes just so in love. Shes literally perfect in every way and hes just happy to have her around. He didnt except fatherhood pit of retirement, but hey.
I really love Niki. She represents how much women are taken for granted in the world. She baked, she cleaned, she SLAVED for lmanburg and manberg. She put trust in the wrong people and was extremely loyal to c!Wilbur and the others .
But they never had her back and they took her for granted. She was made less than she was less than a person by misogyny.
Which is why I love her cause she learned to grow out of this power and I think once she joins the syndicate she realizes she's an equal and treated like a friend more than a toy. (And I think burning the lmanburg tree was a symbolism of her finally being free and lifting herself away from these views because she is a person like the others and needs to see herself as one.)
Yall know those amazing dsmp fics about Tommy becoming a hero/villain and forming a found family with sbi or bench trio?? Ok I love those sm but does anybody have any recs that are Syndicate focused, preferably c!niki centric?? I had a fic idea for one and I really want to make it but if one already exists, I'd rather just read that one
First to go was Vian who of course headed to Utah where he actually has made a friend and she’s helping him become a better person by being his friend
Mahogany would decide to go find Vian and would have Whiterose come along to protect them but they drop the royalty and knight theming pretty fast to instead wear cottagecore outfits like Mahogany’s embroidered strawberry shirt! From back in Lmanburg :0
Myotis found Mahogany’s cave and now the vampire tells people stories abt the monster of the caves gigantic canine creature with freaky white eyes (he also likes looking through Mahogany’s stuff)
Next to head out was the syndicate(+komo) who went to the end and they can’t really get out given they befriended the Ender dragon given she’s conscious
Nutmeg managed the revival project especially given a certain item Mahogany left for him before leaving of a revival book so he revived Ender first then Comet and now Comet and Nutmeg are out on their own adventure
Ender got revived and actually went with Mac to the nether so the kid could keep growing up there and Ender also took Morgan bc Hydra and Komo were missing
Bee started becoming a merchant and often brings gold to Ender and Mac in the nether given that’s his family!
Frog decided it was time to go finally leave his mistakes and Sam went along showing a bit to Frog he’ll always have his mistakes…..maybe he should stop seeing them as mistakes?
Aloe went with Frog and Sam definitely not bc she’s looking for a end portal given she’s definitely not a syndicate member
Wisp was planning to get back to walking and actually suggested Cas come with him which Cas was hesitant but he just got himself and Coin ready and now out there there is three fox anthros walking south given south has less people
Coal made a big decision and cut his deal to be friends forever with Bee given the total memory wipe that would happen given currently Coal can have help with that but if he stayed longer he possibly couldn’t so now he’s in the nether with his family following! Muffins is teaching her kid how to survive the nether while Diamond watches
Mantis is with them but with something interesting….the egg hatched and Trix is along for the ride
Patch learned he was the time and dream god and with that has just gotten all the tales people back then he worked with Carrot on they’re deal and now Patch leads a group of friends from other times and Carrot is in the back making sure no one runs off
Hanulilly was the next to leave just using her fairy wings to maybe fly out somewhere where she can be a good person again or just lay in a flower field till she passed…..she did the ladder………..
With so much less customers to the McKomo’s Milkweed just left universe back into the multiverse
Demi learned he was top god so first dropped Antler off with the tales group then Demi began to do too god stuff no longer having time for much in between top god stuff and helping Fin and Frazer learn how to be gods
One time when Cypress wasn’t gambling and with the knowledge they were severely understaffed Franklin decided Las Nevadas was over and just told Slime then the two blew it up and left on a boat giggling abt how they just destroyed the entire legacy while drunk…..even when sober they believe it was the right decision
Cypress after Las Nevadas was destroyed now just spends time looking around the server and taking care of everyone’s old pets……especially the ones Hydra had in the underground city……….he wishes he could make it up to her but she’s just missing so he’ll take care of a cat and a enderman
Astin had had a chance to actually go back to space back when Whiterose got something working so Whiterose could send his kids back to space out of this but….Astin didn’t take it instead him and Chord are living in a cottage with a bunch of sheep and are raising Saylor together while Chord also has tamed a dog recently and is training the dog with Champ’s tasks? Astin isn’t seeing Champ is getting old but Chord is so is preparing something for him
Mahogany would eventually talk to Vian then track everyone down and say their goodbyes before leaving universe at peace on their own terms back out into the multiverse onto another adventure
Damn, I can't stand the syndicate trio (Techno, Phil and Niki)

So which is it Techno? Was it an oppressive government you guys took down "righteously" or was it a down trodden land with few members who couldn't even defend themselves whose houses you just sent off to bedrock for shits and giggles? Huh?

i could imagine them being like 👁👄👁 (maybe techno gets suspicious or smth) but you hate the egg for what its done to you and youre friends/family.

Masterlist
Legs over the side. Head leaning on the back. Listening to Niki. You both sat in the syndicate room and held a nice conversation about whatever comes to your mind. Techno called in a meeting, but it starts in a few hours. Niki and you were best friends, but time was rare since she lived in the SMP and you had your house near Techno, Phil, and Ranboo.
You once lived in the SMP and also New L'manberg. As your home got blown up, Philza felt pity and kind of adopted you with the Enderboy.
Now you have a lovely house inside the little hill above Ranboo.
Because of all the talking, both of you lost track of time. The hidden door opened and Techno and Phil entered the room. Apollo rushed over to you and Niki to get some attention.
You smiled at the white dog and gave him your full attention until Philza chimed in, "we're starting the meeting. Come on and sit straight Y/n"
You did as he told you, as well as Niki. Techno closed the stasis chamber of Ranboo. Within a second he teleported to the Syndicate room, "Thanks man" He said before sitting down.
As all the members sat down, Techno opened the meeting.
"Thank you all for coming and so on. The reason why we are all here now is because of the Eggpire" He sighed "Puffy and I thought we could handle it... well, things got out of control"
The pig looked over at you, "Y/n, any ideas? You usually have great ones"
You did a little brainstorming for like a minute and then came up with an idea. "Well, maybe we could check up there ourselves first and talk with them. Maybe there are willing to cooperate and negotiate"
Techno kept looking at you with squinted eyes, "Uhh… Talking to people" He sighed, "Y/n you can do the talking. You're the best in it. Meetings over. Let's head to the Eggpire"
You five stood up simultaneously and headed back to the surface.
After arriving at the SMP, immediately you get greeted by Sapnap. He was just taking a stroll around the lands but got stuck at the portal due to some fishy propaganda.
"Oh hey Guys" He says casually. He then noticed you in the crowd, and suspicion rose inside him. He knew you live with them now, but he never saw you with them nor being in their group.
You pushed yourself to the frontline and then walked over to the fiery boy. "Hey Sapnap, How's going? Hope you're doing well. Just out of curiosity... What do you think about the egg?" You spoke real fast, almost unable for Sapnap to understand. Almost.
"Uh... The Egg? I hate it. Ever since it's been there, my dad hasn't been the same"
"Nice. Very nice" you stopped for a second and thought about what you said, "I mean it's not nice ou... YOUR dad is different. It's nice that you think this way" Again you let it sound bad "Not that you would like your dad to be different. I mean... I should really stop talking"
Sapnap nods, "But I get what you are trying to say"
You look behind you for a brief second. Techno looked at you with a questioned look on his face. You felt a shiver run down your spine. Why are you so nervous?
You quickly linked your arm onto Sapnap and dragged him over to the community house, "Come on friends, let's head over to the Eggpire"
All the Syndicate now were wary of your discomfort. Technoblade first headed over to you and stopped you from walking. "Are you sure you want to go?" he sounded worried.
You just laughed it off. It was clearly a nervous laugh. "Yeah, everything's fine. It's our mission, remember" You smiled, "Nothing to worry about" The last sentence sounded like you were saying it to yourself.
Techno couldn't stop you, and the other didn't know what to do either. You were always cheerful and happy around them. Seeing you with discomfort and a slight hint of fear made them somewhat sad. Especially Niki and Phil.
All the way, you clung onto Sapnap. No one knew why, but he seemed to be a calming person in your life. At least someone can calm you a little now. Sapnap also looked like he was used to it.
The 6 of you arrived at the crimson red room where the egg was located. You hoped for BadBoyHalo to not be there, but also to be there. The Egg definitely made your life worse.
You let go of Sapnap and walked over to the Egg. Techno and Phil followed you close behind. As you just stood a few meters away from the Egg, you could hear it screaming at you. Trying to lure you in by granting you what you truly wish for. But you know for 100% it can't give you this wish.
Just then, a black-white demon appears. "Y/n?! Oh my... Good to see you again, dear" He wanted to give you a hug, but stops at the sight of Technoblade "Why is HE here?"
"Bad" You called him "We have to talk" "o-oh. Never a good way to start a conversation, Also when did you stop calling me dad"
You signed and closed your eyes. The feeling of many eyes staring stabbed your back. All of them are shocked to the core. You tried to ignore it.
You looked back into the white eyes of Bad "I stopped ever since this thing possessed you"
"Y/n, Dear, You know I'm still your father right" Bad smiled at you
"You're not my father anymore. You may talk like him, you may look like him, and you may have the same voice, But my father would do everything for his family and not neglect it"
You could feel tears building up. Bad felt your heartbreak and also felt sadness. But he couldn't understand why you don't see the good side of the egg "I am me, come back to me" he mentioned with a happy voice.
You tried to talk to him many times before and it never worked out. Somehow you still had hoped he could be his old self again.
A tear slid down your cheek. Your Brother, Sapnap, walked over and pulled you away from the scene. He looked back to Bad and said
"She's right. You're not our father anymore" And so the both of you left. You could still hear Phil arguing with Bad before getting back to the surface.
Just seconds after, Niki and Ranboo followed.
Niki opened her arms for you, "Come here, let's cuddle" You gladly accepted her cuddle invitation. Ranboo also chimed in with his long arms. Nearly picking up Niki and you.
Sapnap just watched the cuddling in front of him. You held your hand over to him asking if he wants to join. He declined with a head shake, but no was not an option. You grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him over. First, he attempted to free himself but gave up as Niki and you hold onto him tightly.
You all stood there for a good 5 minutes. You stopped because Technoblade and a stomping Phil came back.
Technoblade looked neutral as ever, but Phil clearly was a bit sour. He looked at you "Feel free to call me Dadza as much as you want. That's it... I'm adopting again"
A light smile and laugh escaped from you. You may not have your original family besides Sapnap, but you had a second family, and you were very glad to have them.

Years have passed. The actions of the Egg have died down because of Sam and you still lived with the majority of the syndicate.
Today you were just playing in the snow with Technos polar bears and dogs.
"Y/n. Do you mind coming over for a second" Phil called you over with a little package in his hands.
You hushed over to him. "What's the matter?" He said nothing and handed you over the package.
On the cardboard stood that it was from the badlands. You were suspicious but opened it anyway.
In it was a black banner with a red heart on it. A smile crept onto your lips. Then you spotted a letter underneath the fabric.
It had your name written on it and due to the handwriting, you knew it was from Bad.
As you opened the letter, three words were seen immediately.
"I'm so sorry"

You know what I saw the 'c!Niki wasted her potential I liked her better during Manberg era' too many times so I want to talk about it.
Something that annoys me about that take is the fact that you can just tell it comes from L'manburg stans. They keep saying how amazing c!Niki was when she was against same people as L'manburg but they seem to ignore the fact how well c!Niki was ignored. That was a big part of her character development, her starting to feel like no one really listened. This is why Syndicate helped her heal, they listened to her opinion and they saw her as important part of the group. C!Niki helping her friends that help her feel better makes sense. Now if you feel that character finally feeling safe is boring that's not a character problem this is on you.
But Bunybunn someone might say what about c!Jack Manifold? Well as much as I love the c!rocket duo dynamics the truth is that is wasn't good for ether of them. The foundation of it was the fact that they both wanted the ravage on c!Tommy, it wasn't healthy. C!Niki was more lucky than c!Jack because she found herself a little community that made her feel safer and actually important. This is why her saying that she started baking again was such a important line. It was perfect contrast to c! Jack anger.
In short c!Niki healing isn't making her character worse nor the fact that she is willing to fight with and for syndicate who are basically now the people she cares about and she knows that they care too.
