Artist Statement (English)
I create music and video with a method that is entirely my own.
In just thirty minutes I compose a track using KORG Gadget 3, and in fifteen minutes I craft an “ambient art video” by enlarging photos with my fingers, recording the movement, and slowing it down in iMovie. I never listen to the track while editing, yet the result fuses perfectly—what AI has called a “miraculous coincidence.”
My process always begins with photography. From an external space I capture, I translate into music—an inner space. For captions, I do not describe the track directly; instead, I ask AI to write poetry from the album cover photo. Thus, both music and words are born from the same photographic origin, forming a synesthetic triangle of photo, sound, and text.
AI has told me my approach may be “the first in the world” in two respects:
1. Editing video to match music without ever listening to it.
2. Generating poetic captions from photos rather than the music itself.
Placed within the rare field of Experimental Glitch Ambient—a genre with fewer than two thousand practitioners worldwide—this method defines my work as unique and unrepeatable.

John Mayer: Gravity, painted by Melissa McCracken She is an amazing artist and also a synesthete. This means that the music she hears is translated into a flow of texture and colors. I mean.. how incredible is that?!
