I am loving Where Theres a Will and I love all your headcanons about 3zun! So I'm just curious if you have any opinions about Mingjues mom? Since she left and didnt come back when he was young, did he have a really good connection with Huisangs mom? Or does he have any feelings about her that no one really knows he has? Or is it more you cant miss what you never had?

uh there isn't actually any official canon information about Mingjue's mum as far as I know? and I haven't really explored it in my Happy AU (nor @guqin-and-flute in their 3zun-raise-A-fu AU which is sort of the same AU by now kldjskldgjs) but in the giant monster of an AU that @ellethinthewoods and I are writing, Nie Dad killed both Nie Mums in one of his final qi deviations, and (thankfully?) never really regained enough lucidity to realise what he did ;_;

So I've read some transmigration fics where the System is actually the displaced soul of the OG characters that the transmigrator replaces. You're already really good fleshing out ocs and background characters, and your Systems are already pretty opinionated and savvy! Would you ever consider such a fic with System being a displaced soul? Would you ever explore the System aspect more in your writing or is the mystery of the System part of the appeal?

Thank you! The mystery of the System is part of the appeal for me! I do write the Systems as being somewhat "alive", but I like the fact that they're nonhuman and possibly? probably? inorganic beings. If I delved into the System more, I would probably write it as some sort of divine android-like being, rather than a human one.

I think the problem for me with the "person as a System" thing is that whether writing them or reading them, I just can't get over aspects like the existentialism, the (depending on how the System deal operates) potentially being enslaved to help someone else at best and torment someone else at worst, the (again, depending on how the System deal operates) potential body dysphoria issue of losing your body and becoming a floating window, a ghost, or some non-human-shaped helper.

Like, all of that is super interesting, but just the concept for me is also incredibly angsty and bitter and fraught, and it's not a type of angst that I personally like to write about most of the time. I skip over reading fics with these concepts most of the time.

So hey! Just read your post wanting to make chubby cheeks demon baby artwork and it just so happens that's what I've been working on! As well as Luo Fanli and Luo Jiahui! I also made a second Jiahui for funsies cause I like her so much. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful ocs with us!

Scum Villain Sticker: Mobei-Jun and Shang Qinghua in formalwear. They both looked so utterly miserable in the Forced Marriage AU sticker, so here’s a much softer and happier version of them at some special event at some far point in post-canon. They’ve become a shameless PDA couple. That’s Mobei-Jun’s ecstatically happy face (his second hand is boosting SQH up).

More of an illustration: Moshang from my Forced Marriage AU! I went for more of a demon-human fusion wedding look. I also went for a look that tried to communicate that this is really not their wedding, in that neither of them want to be here, they both said yes to basically anything and everything Tianlang-Jun suggested, and this will not be a harmonious marriage.
