I’ll be honest. I do believe that some form of “ plurality “ outside of CDDs and medical context exists. I really do. My issue with endogenics and nondisordered systems is the fact that they present almost identically to that of CDDs despite their claims to not have the disorder and that their experiences are different.

If you claim to be so different, why demand our spaces? Why use the same medical terminology that is used to refer to CDDs and trauma survivors?

If you claim to be so different, why do you cry ableism and “sysmed” when you spread blatant misinformation on a serious medical disorder?

If plurality exists outside of a medical frame, then it would not present in the way that disordered plurality does. It never will. After all, Why would Something non medical present in a medical manner?

Not to mention the concept of nondisordered plurality in the way it presents was rooted with the intent of mocking CDDs and creating a movement that was attempting to test the legitimacy of CDDs as a disability and trying to take it off of the DSM; but that’s for another time.

I am open to RESPECTFUL discussion on either side. Harassment towards me or other people interacting with this blog will result in a block, regardless if anti or not.

Hey I wanted to thank you for being a popular plurality blog that is pro endo. I'm probably a traumagenic system, but I don't actually know for sure because I don't remember when our first splits happened or why. So seeing a lot of other plural people consistenly invalidate experiences that are very close to mine has been so disheartening.

It's just really nice to have a space where I can consider either possibility and know that it doesn't invalidate my plurality to do so. Thank you <3

umm idk where to get information on this so i'm gonna ask here because maybe you know. recently i tried to join a discord server for disability and they kept interrogating me about what i think about "endogenics" and saying that they were fakers and harmful to systems.. now i barely understand what a system is much less all these other big words, i like to think i'm accepting of most people's experiences even if i can't say i understand them, i ended up getting banned from this server because they "do not accept neutral stances" which was confusing and honestly feels a bit mean, do you think you could explain if you don't mind? i'm not sure how much sense this makes as i'm currently dealing with a lot of brain fog. i hope you have a nice day

It seems like you've stumbled into "system discourse", friend. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. You should not have to be interrogated about this when you're seeking community with other disabled people.

We believe plurality, the experience of being more than one, exists in many different forms. Some are disordered, some are natural, some are adaptive, some are spiritual, some are cultural... you get the idea. We accept everyone.

Some people however believe that there's only one way to be plural / a system. They believe in a strict medical model where you need to have a specific dissociative disorder, or you are 'faking' / lying. They believe any deviation from an unified self is by necessity an illness. They try to deny many plural people and systems the ability to define their own identities and experiences.

A lot of them do it because they are hurt, suffering, and lashing out, often repeating misconceptions they've heard others spread before. They can be very hostile about this, as you've experienced.

This is a positivity blog so I won't get any deeper into it, but I hope this explanation helped a little.
