Skylar: I want to watch Elmo!

Sometimes I wonder if the trauma I went through is actually enough to form alters. But last night, somebody else finally witnessed a switch. My boyfriend saw me switch, and Skylar (the young little in my system) came out. She seemed really comfortable with him from what he tells me. Apparently she climbed on him, called him babe, and asked him to put elmo on. I think this is huge because Skylar is usually timid and afraid, but in front of the boyfriend she was really calm and even bratty from what I understand. I’m just so happy that my boyfriend can be a safe place for her. She also mentioned a mean man. I don’t know what man she was talking about. She could be talking about a number of many different men that she encountered. It makes me feel bad because she is such a sweet girl and she deserves to have a childhood, even if she is technically in an adult body. She’s been through so much and even protected me when I was younger. I’ll always be grateful for her.
