Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game (WotC) - Rebellion Era Campaign Guide - T-wing interceptor under attack from an Emperor's Royal Guard TIE/IN starfighter
OK, so this one is pretty old. Made from the old original micro machines by Galoob, so I must have made this one in the mid or late 1990s. Basically it is my version of a T-Wing. All I did to it was give it a better repaint.

Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided - R60 T-Wing Design Differences
The R60 T-wing Interceptor was a Rebel starfighter comparable to the Imperial TIE Interceptor that was eventually replaced by the A-wing, due to the ship’s poor technical aspects.

If the T-Wing was in Star Wars Rogue Squadron.
“Originally designed to replace the A-wing, the T-Wing is one of our newer craft. Unfortunately the end result proved it to be poor replacement.
Initially we only used this fighter for a short time before deciding to sell it to non-aligned factions, hoping to at least gain a profit. Surprisingly it proved effective in the hands of nomadic pirate’s. So we’re giving it another shot.
To better understand what your getting into when using this craft you should know that the interceptor has several drawbacks worth mentioning, to cut costs the construction used poor-quality materials. Additionally Its shields are too light for its role. On top of a limited memory, the navicomputer is obsolete and full of coding errors so don’t plan to make any long jumps.
Like the A-wing, the T-wing is a light fast-response starfighter. The ship's speed is similar to a TIE Interceptor, with the advantage of hyperdrive capability. It has three H-K 5J MK. II after-burner ion engines and is armed with light laser cannons and proton torpedo launchers
Maneuverability was sadly another disappointment to the designers, as it’s less so than an A-wings. As per the A-wing, weapons are light, with only dual laser cannons being fitted in order to maintain it’s limited maneuverability.
However, the T-wing's warhead load is equal to that of an X-wing, making it a good multi-role fighter in the hands of a competent pilot. If you can find one that can put up with it’s... Charms.”
