ok so been meaning to ask this for a while
but knowing what we know now about aaravos and leola, what changes would you make to TSATS and TAATM keeping this new development in his character in mind??
would love to know your thoughts on this!!
aaaaa I've been Thinking about it lol at least as far as TSATS goes (I did not help write TAATM, gotta ask @alls-fair-in-pride-and-prejudice about that one)
So first I'd want to include "revenge on the startouch council" under Reasons Aary Wants To Get Back To Xadia
i'd scrap the "wary of kids bc Aa Smols" flavor, or maybe change it into some deep-seated fear of something Happening. also he'd have Feelings about Loki being a protector of children along the lines of "maybe if they'd been there they could have done something..."
He would also! have been fucking horrified to learn about where exactly his sentient prison was kept. I imagine he would do a big cry and Loki would hug him tight and vow revenge on the startouch council as well
and uh. Giant Aary would've been a thing, definitely. a spell to change size. can you imagine? Either that, or a trip to the mushroom mage promptly upon arriving in Xadia-- and I imagine there would've been a writers' debate about whether to make him go huge upon arriving in Asgard or not
leola would absolutely get a happy ending in tsats if we'd gone into this with her and that backstory in mind. eventually. imagine aary trying to find anything about necromancy in asgard's library.
