quick ref sheet for an oc i made a few days ago
she’s cute
Whilst Sylvie and Jasper had been in the main lounge area, Ellen had been working in her office.
The school was indeed up and running, but there was still various arrangements that still needed checking and clarifying. She’d been pleased to meet with the book supplier that stocked Henry’s bookshop as Henry had suggested. The supplier was happy to send over a list of the various textbooks and exercises that many in a school would find beneficial.
Ellen was conscious that she might appear as a bad hostess so she finished up her emails and headed back into the lounge. She spotted that Sylvie was taking her leave of the evening.
Sylvie walked over and hugged her, and Ellen smiled. She was fond of Sylvie, as the Fae could appear very maternal at times.
“I’m so happy that you’re in good health after that hasty birth” Sylvie said as she withdrew from the hug. “And it was a pleasure to help you give birth to the youngest four.”
“Never got round to thanking you for that” Ellen said sheepishly. “Thanks for helping me. I was more scared than last time!”
Sylvie patted her shoulder “I was more than happy to be there for you Ellen. You are family and any protection or affection I have for my nephews and your children, extends to you as well Ellen.”
Ellen’s cheeks grew pink and her eyes watered at the tender words. “Thanks Sylvie.”
“Goodnight Ellen” Sylvie said, smiling genuinely. “Night Jasper. Goodnight babies!”
“You’re never going to get bored of them, are you?” Jasper said with a chuckle after he’d put dinner in the oven.
“Never, they’re far too precious” Sylvie said, her eyes never leaving the infants in front of her.
“I fussed over Phillip’s girls this afternoon and now I get to fuss over these five!”
“Think they’re all getting sleepy now, I’d better leave them be.”
“Thank you for coming around Sylvie” Jasper said genuinely. “I’m happy that you take such delight in our children.”
"Sylvie!” Jasper called, having seen his aunt approaching as he’d glanced out of the window.
“Hello Jasper” Sylvie said, smiling as she returned his welcoming hug.
“Come to be a proud great aunt to new ones?”
Naturally. May I come in?”
“Of course.”
“Look at them, they’re so adorable!” Sylvie said with pride as she walked in and surveyed the lounge floor, which had a total of 5 babies in their playmats.
“Thank you” Ellen said gratefully. “I know I was scared before, but I’m glad I had them. I feel complete now, which is odd to feel.”
Jasper squeezed her hand “I know what you mean babe.”
“Go ahead” Ellen said to the Fae, motioning to her children. “I know you want to introduce yourself to them properly.”
Sylvie was in her element, and before she realised, she was embracing the lovable grandmother stereotype.
