There are a lot of mysteries that surround lotteries in Ghana. From “why the lotto doctor is not rich” to people having dreams where their dead relatives give them winning numbers, pastors and priests giving possible winning numbers to their followers who want money, and the mysteriousness of how quick monies won from lotto vanishes and most often not used for any good thing. What have you heard about lotto? . . 📷: Nana Osei- 2019 . . #accra #tabora #alhadji #ghana #africa #lottery #numbers #dagbando #escape #lottodoctor #moneywinningnumbers #streetstyle #streetphotography #ashantiimmigrant #immigrantchronicle #everydayafrica #dynamicafrica #visiterlafrique #accrawedey #mystery #priests #pastors #dream https://www.instagram.com/p/BxVh6_yAHO2/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ghfc1r071jzb

I think parenting is a contradicting human activity in terms of telling children what is right and what is wrong. Parents sometimes do what they advise their children not to do. For example, one of the first things children are taught is not to lie. But sometimes parents lie to their children to either make them happy, and/or pay attention to instructions. In this photo, the man had gone to pic his son from school but the kid didn't want go because to leave his friends behind. So the father told him he had bought something for him, and he'll only give to him if he agrees to go home. On their way home the kid kept touching the polytene bag to see what his dad had bought for him. After a while he didn't see anything in the bag and he said "dada, you are also lying." . . 📷: Nana Osei - 2018 . . #tabora #accra #ghana #africa #parenthood #parents #children #contradiction #human #activity #school #friends #father #streetstyle #streetphotography #ashantiimmigrant #everydayafrica #iphone6 (at Tabora)
People complain that customer service in Ghana is very poor. In some cases statements like this are often exaggerated, and over generalized. We can't also say it doesn't happen, it does. But we've got to learn how to deal with people no matter how difficult they might be. I always say before we deal with people based on their status in society or service they provide, we should first deal with them as human beings. If we do that we create mutual understanding of ourselves and what we need from one another. When this happens, service providers will be happy to serve us anytime, not even because we are paying for it but because they have created a relationship with us. The guy in this photo, an electrical gadgets repairer was talking to a costumer he'd not heard from in a long time. Now, That's what I'm talking about! . . 📷: Nana Osei - 2018 . . #tabora #accra #ghana #africa #respect #customer #customerservice #service #society #businessdevelopment #electricalgadgets #repairer #streetstyle #streetphotography #humanbeing #ashantiimmigrant #everydayafrica (at Tabora)
Staying Strong. A young guy trains at the Kenyabia Gym at Tabora. Many Ghanaians are realizing the importance of staying healthy and so many are joining gyms, and taking part in health walks. 📷: Nana Osei - 2016 #tabora #lapaz #Accra #Ghana #Africa #gym #health #stayingstrong #healthwalk #kenyabiagym #gymlife #streetstyle #streetphotography #photography #dynamicafrica #visiterlafrique #everydayafrica (at Tabora No.5)
