Classic industrial returns to Omega. It's our second of two broadcasts for the day. We played deluxe hardcore, straight-edge, and vegan sounds on our earlier slot. Now, we return to fill-in for Salvage & Recovery. We retired these bonus sounds years ago for no good reason and now we bring it back to take advantage of independent airwaves. EBM, synthpop / new-wave, metal-on-metal, sampling, anti-Fascist anthems and the political. All Eighties; nothing earlier and nothing later.
Omega returns in two weeks at 3AM for another deluxe broadcast where we'll feature new, current, and favorite sounds and artists. While waiting, visit us at @omegaremix for all music we discover and audition for future potential radio airplay.
Thanks to all followers, supporters, and listeners of ours and WUSB. Stay tuned.

Keith LeBlanc – Stranger Than Fiction
Keith LeBlanc has just died. He has had a largely unseen but incredibly influential trajectory through music.
Starting out as a member of of the Sugar Hill Records backing band he was a part of the birth of Hip hop. And later on he would be a member of Mark Stewart and the Maffia.
But what he was most known for was his involvement with the band Tack>>Head. Although not super popular in the US they were incredibly influential. Nine Inch Nails sampled Tack>>Head heavily on Pretty Hate Machine (and subesquently Le Blanc and fellow Tack>>Head member Adrian Sherwood remixed Down In It on the single)
Check out his stuff.

Newspaper advert March-April 1990.
Found this eBay listing & the layout was new to me.
Okay, another eBay find for early and obscure Nine Inch Nails memorabilia I hadn't seen before. A flier for a release party event for Sin (halo four) in 1990 in New York. Look at that list of special guests, among other things.
RIP Keith LeBlanc
