Use this simple recipe to make your own Mexican pizza that tastes just like Taco Bell's. For a filling Tex-Mex meal, these tortilla chips are topped with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, cheese, and different kinds of vegetables.
Ingredients: 4 small flour tortillas. 1/2 pound ground beef. 1 packet taco seasoning. 1/2 cup refried beans. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1/2 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup sliced jalapeos. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup salsa.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat and mix in the taco seasoning according to package instructions. Place two of the flour tortillas on a baking sheet. Spread refried beans evenly on each tortilla. Divide the seasoned ground beef between the two tortillas, spreading it over the beans. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef. Place the remaining two tortillas on top to create a sandwich-like structure. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the tortillas are crispy and the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Top each Mexican pizza with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, sliced black olives, and sliced jalapeos. Drizzle sour cream and salsa over the top as desired. Cut each Mexican pizza into quarters and serve hot.
