Here's one for the ask game. 2, 4, 8, 13, 14, 19, 20, 22 for TadaKomi aka the ship between Tadano and Komi

Oh nice pick, I love those two I wish I saw more stuff for them!

2. Favourite thing about this ship? It's a bit similar to Connverse, I love how their relationship is built on friendship. They're obviously into each other on a deeper level than that but their friendship is so sweet it makes us want them to be together and it doesn't whack us over the head with them potentially being romantic. I also think it's so sweet how Tadano covers for Komi's social anxiety just to be a good friend to her.

4. How do you see this ship? Teenage sweethearts in their purest form (with a side order of Najimi ofc). They're just kinda vibing with each other trying to get a grip on their feelings and enjoying life together while they do.

8. If this ship were animals, what animals would they be? Do the cats that look like them we see occasionally count? If not I feel like Komi would be a raccoon dog, very cute but skittish, and Tadano would be a capybara, super chill and friend-shaped.

13. What's something they like to do together? Maybe them journalling would be cute? That way Komi doesn't have to feel pressured to talk to Tadano any differently to how she prefers to and Tadano can feel like they're kind of talking and sharing stuff on a level playing field.

14. Is this a ship that you like? Absolutely! Like I said, I wish there was more stuff for it because they're adorable. I do kind of polyship them both with Najimi too- not quite in the 'they're as tight knit in the relationship as the other two' way I ship Stendyle, more in the 'they pop in now and then to cause chaos' way I ship Bender with Fry and Leela.

19. What was the moment in canon that made you go 'yeah, I ship it'? Probably as early as that bit in episode 1 where they fill up the whole chalkboard with their conversation, that had me going 🥹😭 immediately lol

20. Who likes public displays of affection more? Secret third thing, Najimi! XD Neither of them is particularly into PDA because it gets Komi's anxiety going big time and Tadano knows it. When they actually do do it, though, it always comes from Komi feeling comfortable and initiating it- Tadano is happy to wait till they're in private.

22. A headcanon you have for this ship? Komi kept Tadano's maid costume and very occasionally, usually for her birthday, he'll wear it for her because she thinks he looks really cute in it. They keep it strictly a secret between themselves- Najimi did find out and want to tell people but Komi accidentally guilted them into shutting up.

I’m absolutely convinced that komi and tadano are the school power couple. and not just bc komi is pretty and revered.

tadano already has his fair share of simps (especially when he cross dresses lmao) so I image them walking around school getting stared at like “wow they’re so cute… do I want to date komi/tadano or be tadano/komi?”

there’s one scene in the manga where komi catches someone and then tadano catches both of them, and the person gets flustered, and I imagine that’s their general vibe.
