You know, I really wish the aesthetic appeal of the whole “ToyBox” thematics was more explored upon just a liiiitttllle bit more.
I get the whole thing is supposed to be of Caine’s liking but, damn, I think that’s what made it so charming because everything felt like it came from a child’s playroom or playhouse. I might’ve already said all this before but,
I just really like the idea that everything was see was just made into what Caine might perceive as a world of his own, safe, bright, cheerful, where he “plays” with the humans by making adventures.
…which makes me realize he’s a twenty something year old AI with a childlike mindset just wanting to be happy with what he makes, and that the “toys” happen to be sentient humans.
Which makes me realize the more I think on this, this show REALLY could’ve been so much better.
