Of course there will be children in the hospital, but there will be very few, so there's a possibility they could interact with Jax, in the unlikely event that he manages to escape his room.

Will Jax and Ragatha grow closer in your hospital au?

They do grow closer, but in a way that becomes increasingly complicated for both of them. Ragatha starts out treating Jax strictly as her patient, relying on professionalism and distance to manage his unpredictable behavior. But as the sessions go on, she begins to notice the parts of him that no one else sees—his vulnerability, his fragmented sincerity, and the way his defenses lower only when she is near.

And that’s where things become dangerous. Jax’s attachment to her isn’t gentle; it’s intense, territorial, and at times aggressively protective. He reacts sharply when other staff members interact with her too warmly, and his gaze lingers on her like he’s trying to claim something he knows he shouldn’t. Ragatha addresses these behaviors clinically, but a part of her—one she refuses to acknowledge—feels moved by the rawness of his devotion.

Slowly, she begins to care for him in ways that extend beyond her duties. She worries about him more than she should, softens her tone when he’s agitated, and feels a quiet ache when he withdraws or acts out. She knows the attachment is risky, unbalanced… yet their bond keeps deepening.

So yes, they do grow closer. Ragatha finds herself drawn into his orbit, even as Jax becomes fiercely protective of her. Their connection becomes a fragile mix of tenderness and tension—an emotional territory neither of them is supposed to cross, yet both of them keep walking toward anyway

Will you be making a fanfic of your bunnydoll hospital au? I’m curious to see where the story goes

I’m working on it! It’s the first time I’ve actually been interested in finishing a fanfic, but sometimes I feel like there are a few gaps in the script or the story, so it might take me a bit to complete it. I’m also undecided about whether to publish it on AO3, here… or both, LOL.

So yes, it’s in progress. And of course there is a slightly spicy storyline—how could there not be? (With proper warnings, obviously, since Jax behaves like a psychopath.) But yes, it’s all in the works ✨
