Something that occurred to me while watching the hostage scene was that when Hanseo went at his brother with the hockey stick, it would have been WAY more effective if Vincenzo had actually gone over to help Hanseo fight him. Instead of trying to free Chayoung and take advantage of the distraction to walk away with her. I get that he loves her, but I feel like leaving Hanseo like that is the kind of thing ppl do when their enemies fight each other and give them a distraction, rather than your ALLY and DONGSAENG who loves and admires you with all his heart being brave and putting himself in harm's way for you and your girlfriend.
If Vincenzo had just gone over to help Hanseo fight Hanseok, then I honestly think they could have disarmed him, gotten the gun away, and knocked him out. And maybe then Hanseo might have a chance to shoot his brother with the gun, if he wanted to. This way, you could save Chayoung, Hanseo, and yourself!! It would be so much less likely that anyone would get shot like this. Why would you not do this??
Also, Vincenzo MUST KNOW Hanseo isn't some martial artist who could easily fend off his brother. So why would you just leave him to fight alone? How many seconds would that be able to buy anyway? You are super good at fighting so shouldn't you have gone over, taken advantage of the distraction by bonking Hanseok in the head and stealing his gun away??
I just don't understand, it seemed like such an irrational choice? As if the writers just wanted to have Hanseo die in a self-sacrificing way and they just had to find SOME way of making that happen, so they ended up writing an irrational scene.
i love it when taec switches from speaking korean to english in vincenzo his tone of voice totally changes and he gets all dramatic and its so freaking funnyĀ
