Back from the dead to art dump of some of the stuff Ive drawn that I rlly like

This one is rlly special to me as I drew it for my nan who loved the old version (this is a redraw btw) and a drawing of wapeach

Semper Tecum Sum [Please click to full view for details- this doesn’t translate well to to tumblr unfortunately //LARGE POST AHEAD] 

My contribution for the @hetalia-fanzine​ for the 11th anniversary! At the time, this was probably the most complicated thing I’d made ( still is to a large degree), combining two of my favourite things : art nouveau and this series about anthropomorphised countries. 

Details : Semper tecum sum is Latin for “always with you” but with a travelling connotation. I see the countries as companions, having travelled together through the highs and lows of history through to modern times. Despite hardship, they remain united alongside their countrymen, and will continue journeying together on the winding path of life.

Floriography :

Lilies for peace

Rosemary & poppies for remembrance

Striped zinnias to commemorate absent friends

Laurel on the couch ( sneaky visual pun)

Oak leaves for strength.

Lapels contain their (supposed) national flowers : maple leaf, peony ( although plum blossoms are also their national flower) , iris, cornflower, camomile, lily, roses .

Fun stuff : Skeletonised Lady Liberty and some angels wielding dangerous weapons.
