Analyzing Yugo limbo art is like being in an art class and instead of the teacher telling you to look for why the person used green for the hair, its you doing all the thinking but when you ask them, they respond with something like "I dont know, I like green". I just wrote an entire symbolic list on why you may have chose green and you just did it because you like it. The artist really didnt think as deep into it as you obsessed ass. Stop being weird about great god grove. Its just a game. Its just a game.

Had to change the bandsaw blade today and I just want to say how hilarious it is to be in a room with the most stoic, manly guys on earth that suddenly get all jumpy like there's a wasp in the car when the blade is off.

Even myself. My manager's like "Stand back, I got this 💪 " to unfold the new blade and then just unanimous, intermittent panic when it bounces off the wall like a huge rubber band.

I don't think throwing the blade at the wall is standard procedure to unfold a new blade by the way, but he'd already tossed it by the time I'd realised.

How did you learn to tailor/alter clothing? (I'm a beginner with a sewing machine and it is all overwhelming but I can't afford to keep buying new clothing cos my body is decided mid twenties is a good time to gain weight after not putting on much after 20 odd years)

Honestly it's been trial and error, I'm also not much more than a beginner with a sewing machine. I started out customising clothes and doing small repairs like adding a rectangle patch to accessorise or repair a worn bit by hand - now I do the same thing by machine, neater and stronger but not functionally any different

Mostly my tailoring efforts are in making stuff smaller cause as a trans guy I'm oddly proportioned for a lot of men's clothes, I tend to buy stuff big enough to fit my hips or chest etc and then have to take it up to be shorter so it doesn't look way too big on the rest of me, so I don't have any real advice or experience in tailoring larger - any of y'all got any resources you'd recommend for that?

All I really know is stuff like "zigzag stitch strong," "make sure the patch is stretchy in the same direction as the thing it's being put onto," and "you need a bigger seam allowance than you think you do, excess can be cut off at the end but if you cut it too small you're fucked". Specific, but not necessarily helpful advice... There's, like, a lot of googling "wikihow extend pockets" or "youtube tutorial rolled seams" involved. A lot. I do not always retain information well when I'm not holding it

Sorry I don't really have much of practical use to you, I literally just guess every time I start a new thing and hope for the best haha 😅 good luck!! Try things, Google other people trying things, you will see so much progress even if it is very difficult to describe!!

are you or your sister watching this season???

Yes-ish. I’m not following clip by clip other than what I see in gifs or text translations. I watch the episode at the end for the most part unless I have a particular reason to watch a clip. The only seasons I’ve followed clip by clip really closely have been Isak, Jana and Robbe and some of Zoe’s. Not sure what my sister will do. 🤷🏻‍♀️
