ok this is probably silly but I have a small theory about Threshold……

SPOILERS FOR THE END OF MALEVOLENT

so in part 55, when John is telling the story of the bone citadel and all the other universe Arthurs, he starts talking about the Arthur that made him come to his senses. The one from the 18th birthday universe. And in part 55 we often hear the dialogue of “Past John” and “Past Arthur”, and in this particular scene we hear the 18th birthday universe Arthur say

So if some peoples theories are correct, and the Faroe in DC Al Coda IS the 18BU Faroe, then that would mean her father once had a “John” of his own. There is some debate right now on whether or not we think Faroe already knows about John, and if she doesn’t, if Arthur will or won’t tell her immediately. But I think it may be interesting if she already knows about John as a concept, whether or not her father spent that much time with him (the fact he never actually called him by any name makes me think they either didn’t spend much time togther or the time they DID spend together wasn’t very pleasant) or whatever. I don’t know, I don’t particularly BELIEVE this, like I kinda think she has no clue about him. But. Just. If she turns out to be the 18BU Faroe, then I will double down about her having some knowledge or at least not being super surprised to hear about him. 18BU Arthur had to have known him SOMEHOW and i feel like the fact he recognized him is gonna come back up. anyway goodbye and if im wrong im DEACTIVATING
