This Easter I woke up early thinking about how it’s so different this year. Things change and now the world is fighting to stay alive. I am blessed I can worship from home. I still mourn you I miss you every single minute of everyday. The peace that gets me through my darkest times and lately there have been a lot is I find peace in the fact God called you home on the morning of March 31,2020 very suddenly and unexpectedly. I can’t question that for the biggest honor anyone can have is to be called home by God. Trey my son you are celebrating your first and most wonderful holy holiday of all with God and in that I find so peace. I never thought this would happen.

Back in July, I lost my best ever guy friend Jay. I didnt know what to do when it happened and I still don’t, I miss him that much.

I always wanted something of his, I wanted something I could make into a memory of him like a pillow. So I thought a shirt of his would be perfect but I didn’t how to get it or even have to guts to ask his parents for an item of his.

I eventually braved it and messaged his mum to be told that most of his clothes went to charity and she didn’t know what was left of his clothes and I should of asked sooner. I wish I did ask sooner now. She said she would have a look for me and let me know but I didn’t hear anything for a while and I didn’t want to pester his parents so left it be.

On Christmas Day, I messged his mum “Merry Christmas, thinking of you” to be replied to with this.....

I burst into tears and had to sneak outside to cry’s way from hubby’s family. It just had to be Christmas Day I find out that a shirt has been gifted to me of his. I didn’t know what to think, I was overwhelmed.

Jay was like a brother to me and to have a part of him is incredibe and I’m honestly honoured to share his memory in some way i make it. I want to make the pillow and have it on every sofa I own. I want him to be on show.

Tomorrow....I collect said shirt and I know I’m going to be a total mess when I collect it, going to ask Hubby to film me but it will be horrendous but it’s true grief.

Today I went to see my best friend. Every Christmas we would buy each other chocolate and Jack Daniels. It was our tradition.

This year is hard that I’m not able to so that, he was taken too soon and this Christmas is going to be strange without him.

Soo, I have left him a small bottle of JD as his Christmas present. I actually stood with him for a while to actually talk to him which I haven’t done before. I need to let so much out to him and I have come home feeling so much better.

I miss him so much it’s unreal ❤️

The heartache and pain a fur baby mom experiences is often not understood by those that don’t love animals as much as we do.. you fought hard little Jax and we thought you were going to make it...we are so sorry if you were in pain and we are heartbroken that we couldn’t take your pain away and give you a chance...we lost you in the middle of the night and I am not sure I will ever forgive myself but I know you know you were loved.
