Headcanons regarding everybody's spouses in the 02 epilogue

In the 02 epilogue, only 2 couples were confirmed- Sora marrying Yamato and Ken marrying Miyako. Today, I will present my head-canons regarding the identities and whereabouts of the spouses of the remaining Digidestined.

Tk and Hikari- They married each other. I know the epilogue didn’t say they were married, but as far as I know it didn't say they weren’t married either. Sure, they showed up to the reunion separately, but last time I checked, couples aren’t required by law to show up at events at the exact same time. Maybe Hikari and one of the sons (whom I assuming r twins) left the house a little easier because Hikari was in charge of picking up the cake or something, and the the blond son stayed at home with TK while TK finished his novel.

Mimi and Izzy- some time in the late new tens, Mimi had a one-night stand with Michael while visiting America, resulting in their son. Their son lives with Mimi most of the time, but Michael visits him as much as possible and in turn, Mimi, will also send the son to stay with Michael during his school breaks. The only reason they didn’t officially have a joint custody arrangement is because joint custody isn't really a thing in Japan. Sometime in the new 20s, Mimi married Izzy, who had a daughter from a previous relationship (or possibly a one-night stand like what happened between Mimi and Michael, or maybe his daughter’s a clone, she does look like a female version of Izzy).

Tai- He married Meiko. As for her whereabouts during the reunion, I’m gonna go with that she was attending a bridal shower for one fo her cousins. I’m also head-canonning that she and Tai also have a daughter who’s about 14 at the time of the epilogue and went to the shower with her. As long as I’m discussing the possibility of any Digidestined having additional kids besides the ones seen in the epilogue, I also headcanon Matt and Sora having 3 kids instead of just 2, with the eldest being a boy the same age as Tai’s OC daughter (and said boy was absent from the epilogue because he was attending a friend’s birthday party)

Cody- I say that Cody’s a widower and that his wife died when their daughter was 3.

Davis- I think he's divorced and that he has sole custody of his son because his ex-wife is a Psychopath.

Joe- he married the girlfriend he mentioned throughout the Tri movies (unless the Kizuna movie said something about them breaking up. I have not seen Kizuna yet, so I do not know if it mentioned whether or not they were still together). Thanks to a YouTuber named FoxenAnime joking calling something from the Tri movies a Tesseract, I got it into my head that Joe’s girlfriend looks like Wanda Maximoff (brown hair, wear red). For some reason, I head-canon her as being on a gymnastics team and that’s why she so patient with Joe’s busy schedule, because she herself has a busy schedule that also interferes with the two of them spending time together. I still need to figure out why she wasn't seen in the epilogue (besides the likely Doylist explanation that the staff wanted to limited any new characters introduced in the epilogue to the heroes’ children). Maybe she wasn't feeling well on the day fo the reunion. Or maybe she’s an introvert who wanted to reserve her social energy for an upcoming family gathering or something. Or perhaps she has some sort of rivalry with Mimi or Miyako, but isn't petty enough to stop Joe form seeing his friends over it.
