Although we are constantly told by white intellectuals that race does not exist, the most remarkable aspect of the American system of racial affirmative action is that it works—and surprisingly smoothly—on the honor system.
You might assume that if race were an arbitrary social construct, then America would be beset by constant disputes over who qualifies to benefit from racial quotas. If race is all just Foucauldian mind games, then surely blacks must be getting exploited by whites, right?
And yet, Americans don’t actually have much trouble agreeing on who qualifies as black and who does not.
…
In the U.S. in the half century since affirmative action was instituted in the late 1960s, people simply self-identify by checking a race box on a form.
This often baffles foreigners, who ask, “Why don’t you just lie?”
In contrast to America, for example, Brazil has felt it necessary to institute expert commissions to assess whether applicants for affirmative action have skin tone that is dark enough and noses wide enough to qualify for privileges.
And even this doesn’t end the agitation. The Brazilian press features frequent brouhahas over who gets to be included in the 20 percent of government jobs reserved for nonwhites. Just as Brazilian soccer stars tend to lighten their skin tone, ambitious students are suspected of darkening theirs.
This is because the Brazilian system, both of racial bias and of compensatory affirmative action, is based on looks. It really is skin-deep.
…
In contrast, the American system is based on who your ancestors are and how they identified.
It’s impossible to gauge what quotient of self-identified incels are so cancerously bitter at women that they encourage murderous rampages such as Elliot Rodger’s. But focusing on the ultraviolent freaks only serves to obscure the deeply sad fact that many young men out there feel that there is no place for them in this world—and certainly no empathy. If they dare to make a peep about the fact that many modern women are shallow, hateful, status-seeking, promiscuous whores, they are swatted down as misogynists, facts be damned. They know that there is zero sympathy in this culture for unsuccessful males and that if they dare to complain, they will immediately be slandered as another frightfully creepy Elliot Rodger in the making. They inhabit a world where there’s an anti-bullying advocacy group for every loser on the planet except white males—especially ones who can’t get laid.

All this quasi-morality is ultimately a kind of vague substitute for Christianity, its primary function being that it enables everybody to overlook the boundless egoism that is the essence of every workplace. The ignoble charade, any non-idiot can see, consists of pretending that we are all friends, or members of a family, or as the unbearably trite corporate types say, “good team members.” As in Europe, Christianity is gradually on the way out in America, so we should expect the workplace to become more and more suffused with this curious blend of Protestant priggishness and progressive ideology. After all, we must have some form of collective “morality,” at least until we kill each other off for diversity’s sake!

Unlike in the time of Scoop, we are currently experiencing a revolution in our understanding of prehistory due to the sudden explosion in the ability to scan the genomes of ancient skeletons. Can our increasing ability to shed light upon these old disputes about Africans offer some insight into why Americans talk as if 100 percent black were the maximum—and optimum—in diversity?
Gay-rights activists and feminists embracing a homophobic and sexist culture such as Islam is more than just a red flag. It’s a smoking gun. We always knew this was about sabotage and we always knew it wasn’t about solutions, but now I know why. It’s about normalizing degeneracy. Liberals and Islamicists may seem like strange bedfellows, but not when those liberals are child molesters.
Is it just me or does this article come off as condescending and vaguely sexist?

Things have gotten so bad that biology has been replaced by chosen gender, with heavy penalties decreed for those who prefer the scientific interpretation of what is a man and what constitutes a woman.
