X-men 97 Erik dying instead of Gambit. And you know Charles would be heartbroken because he felt it.

Oooooh I love this. However, I believe that IF Charles lost Erik he'd lose his ever loving shit. I think he'd drink, be deep into denial until the humans decide that without Magneto in the way they push forward so many segregation and anti-mutant bills that everyone looks at Charles and Charles just. . . He loses it. Even Kelley who tries to stop the others can't and isn't safe from Charles's wrath. The world would change and a herold Magneto coming back to see the world knowing Charles caused it and Charles is the reason humans are superior. . . . Mutants have mercy.

I believe there is a reason we always see Magneto surviving after a death of Charles in most x-men media and never vise versa as Charles losing Erik is not a world anyone is prepared for

Why is nobody writing fanfiction about Xavier’s grief or Erik being turned into a horseman?

Well, to what I have gathered, the fandom is grieving ourselves right now and getting the "haha chuckles what the fuck was that" out of the system THEN I think those will hit. Or they're simply waiting until we get actual confirmation of Horseman Erik and we see it in real time, those are my guesses

And I know many might say Charles is the Jean because he's a very powerful telepath but dare I say Erik is the Jean and Charles is the Scott

Love Magnus being such a good friend to Morph but for the love of it, they don't need a third. They've both had so many partners over the years it's finally their time together.

Plus it doesn't matter if it's Charles or Erik, if Logan even sees either of them being in any sense more than friend to Morph they're going to have claw marks over them from a fight.

The angst of horseman Erik just being… resigned to the fact that he is a monster like the ones that killed his family and so many of his people ( both Jewish and mutant) and Charles trying to convince him that is not true

To quote the great Jude Duarte "If I can be better than them I will become so much worse"

Though for Magnus, he never meant to turn into this. Truly he didn't. But if he cant be better than the monsters from his childhood he will make their descendants know a true monster.

Charles, on the other hand, knows Magnus to his core. Knows him. Knows he is better, has done better. And he will give til his last breath to show/convince Magnus of that by any means. Even if it means he has to die by Magnus's hand to do so.

I wouldn't say he turned, but rather he did just see what humans did to the love of his life - albeit even if they're in an eternal situationship - he knows Magnus has experienced many horrible things and he still shouldn't be experiencing those things as an adult.

People are lucky Charles has yet to do this. No one would be safe from any vengeful Charles.
