I see no one talking about it, so here we go: Haikyuu characthers and the problems of being tall.
➣Asahi is a lovely boy, he surely is. He is sweet, caring and is always worried about everyone. But he is tall, he is tall and has broad shoulders and strong arms, so most people are afraid of him. And Asahi doesn't understand, he is always trying to be nice, but everyone run away. They run away, they created rummors, they never look him in the eyes. That makes Asahi sad. So, so sad. Asahi, sometimes, looks at the miror and see a monster. He doesn't deserve love, he is a beast. Asahi wishes he were born in a normal body.
➢Lev is a energetic boy, but he can't be one. He can't, cause he is 6'4 feet tall and everyone look at him as if he could hurt someone by merely existing. Yaku can playfully kick Lev, but Lev could never do the same, no. He can't even hug people the way he wants, or jump when he is happy, or be the childish boy he is, cause its always "be carefull, Lev, you gonna hurt someone". And he starts beliving it, he starts beliving it, and everytime he remembers when he has broken Alisa's arm, Lev feels like he is just a headache, a problem.
➣Tsukishima just wants to pass unpercived. That's who he is, he is not a big fan of attention. But since he's tall, he has to deal with it. When he walks into a room everyone stares at him, he gets confessions all the time from girls he doesn't even know, he is almost popular. But Tsukishima have never wanted it, he just want to live his fuking life, but everywhere he goes, he can feel the sensation of eyes looking at him, as if he were diferrent, as if he were a zoo animal.
➢Kanoka is a girl. She's a girl, but a tall one, and the world dont like them a lot. She is never feminine enough, never good enough, always beeing too strong, ocuppating too much space. Once, a woman yell at her for beeing in the female bathroom, cause she couldn't be a girl, not when she is that tall. Kanoka grew up listening that nobody will ever want her, cause she's not a pretty-small-cute-little-girl. Even her own mother has said that to her before. Kanoka would give everything to be seeing as a woman, at least one time at her life.
