👀 do you see your doctor regulary?
“Life,” Elliott declares to a journalist, smiling as he does so, “is all about living on the edge.” He gesticulates to his face, emphasising the scarring on his face.“You think these came about by nothing? No, let me tell you – there was this time when a flyer – HNNNGG–”
He’s cut off by the jolt of electicity that zaps through his leg, going bug-eyed, and falling forward onto the press desk set before himself and the rest of the Legends as he does so.
He casts his gaze to the right, struggling to catch his breath, as Lifeline smirks down at him. Her D.O.C. drone floats innocently beside her.
He rubs his temples, trying to shake off the shock. He’d known Ajay long enough than to fuck with her or her drone.
“I. Uh. I’ve a very – we all do – a very diligent doctor in Ajay Che –combat medic on Frontier Corps, doncha know! Always lookin’ after us.”
He shoots her a sardonic tilt of the head from across the table, not needing to verbalise the ‘really?’
Ajay just winks at him, before turning back to their attendees.
“And we wouldn’t be out here if not for Mirage’s distracting techniques! Only way I find a place to take care of all of ya.”
Elliott bites his lip and flushes.
Maybe they really were a team.
