Today I’d like to share with you some drawings about Stanley… And Vlad.
Who is Vlad, you’re asking ?
This is a long story, my dear friends… But I’ll make it short.
Vlad is an original character of @rose-de-noire, based on the Vlad in the movie Dracula Untold. He’s several centuries older and a pirate. He is a friend of Jacques, Rose’s main OC, also a pirate. Stanley left Villeneuve and was hired by Jacques, to forget about LeFou, who will never love him (blame Gafou) and to be himself, to wear all the makeup and the dresses he wants without anyone saying anything. His friends Tom and Dick left too, to not hide their love for each other anymore. Laurette, one of the Bimbettes, followed Jacques, because she loved him but also because of her sad backstory.
So, yes, basically, they all are pirates. Nice pirates. Not trying to kill everyone and get rich. They just travel on the sea, trying to forget their sad past and love who they want.
Stanley met Vlad when Jacques introduced him to his new members, so Stanley, Laurette, Tom and Dick.
The story doesn’t say yet if it was love at first sight, escpecially for Stanley, because Vlad looks a lot like Gaston, at least physically. Would you fall in love with someone who « stole » the person you liked ? Not as soon as you meet them, at least.
But after some time, Stanley and Vlad were truly in love with each other.
That’s all for the story, to explain who is this guy in black and what he is doing with Stanley.
About the drawings, now…
I made some skectches, to get Vlad’s face and outfits. I’m still not totally convinced, so maybe I’ll share some others in the future. I also tried to figure how to draw Stanley. What you see is the third version. Should I share the other two ? I’ll see.
And finally, of course, the reason of this post : Stanley and Vlad together. It’s a crack ship, yes, but aren’t they cute together ?
