Page 1: Sunday 28 July 2024 Feeling a little bit art block So, so. Darwin was so beautiful, but everything in the territory feels so raw. The obvious violence of colonisation is still so present, so undeniable. It's a place where every problem so-called australia manages to obscure or obliterate in its wealthier centres still remains. It doesn't feel like a margin, it feels like this outside, intentionally separated place.

All the buses were on a free trial the NT is currently running, but the signage was abysmal and the bus stops run-down, the ticket info booth [almost] comically shuttered itself as I walked towards it to ask a question, and two seccies and two police officers watched us like prisoners as we boarded the free! public! bus! Nikita very comically kept making these janky, rigged 'blocks' when he was asked to close a line. There is something endearing about a cobbled together answer to a simple question. An over-engineered, poorly implemented, non-solve.
Relatable
BLOCK.
I've been working on the synthera V1.0 (B) which hasn't been passing pressure tests - I'm really not sure if I'm cut out for any of this - I made a small shim/stand off on the lathe for it. I think it'll work. Maybe?

I hate it when I can't even write a poem about something because it's too obvious.
