Concept: tameable silverfish (you tame them by feeding them paper) thoughts?

additional concepts lads:
they're indicated as tamed via one layer of Flurf by the head turning white rather than grey
when take them mining/underground, they hide in stone while you do your thing and pop out when something hits you, which is more effective the bigger your horde is. the horde shoves themself into one block so when you break said block it explodes in Bugs
you can dye them once to change their tame indicator flurf color, and dyed a second time with the same color to change every other layer of Flurf to that dye color so they're stripey lil dudes
when in range they hide under beds, like how cats lie on beds
slap a lead on them and you got yourself: a silverfish on a string!!!
