Thoughts on how Orym fits into the horror movie aesthetic (affectionate) of the Bell’s Hells?

Oh yes. See the fun thing about Orym is that, imo, he fits the bill in two different ways.

1- Orym is fast, and acrobatic, and lethal. This is beautiful when we're admiring him protecting his friends but can you imagine facing him in battle? He's darting and twirling and bouncing around the field, almost inhumanly graceful AND lethal. Like a panther- all control and speed and coordination that's gonna be beautiful in how it kills you. Imagine that. And then imagine that in the dark, in a badly lit room, spooky noises in your periphery. You hear wolves and smell ozone and whispers in your mind. And then. You see this guy. He looks like a regular guy.

And then he starts moving. And you know you're fucked.

2- I think its getting increasingly clear what Orym would be willing to do to keep his loved ones safe. I think that would translate well.

As I bi woman of colour, I must say that it is so refreshing to see another woc on tv falling for a white woman. I feel so represented in watching Leyla and Lauren together. How many times I’ve kissed a white girl and got the same face as Leyla (oh shit!face )? This one scene hit a little closer to the chest , not gonna lie lol….

Tho my stories with women end here. Never had a white girl have feeling for me. (Must be The Duff in me)

Oh, well, I'm not sure relationships between white women and WOC are that rare on TV, relatively among the few f/f relationships there are in all, I mean? But ooof, if you got the reaction the first kiss did, sorry!

I think there are probably a lot of factors that go into your relationships with other people, including women and specifically white women. You don't know how all of them felt about you, considering how taboo and secretive it still really is. Also, since you've said your stories with women end there, seems like you've focused on white women a lot. Maybe there's a certain attitude you have that they're also sensing? They're just people, like everyone else, including other QWOC you could be hanging with.

And I mean, I don't know you, but I'd hope and assume there are a fair amount of wlw who don't care about someone being the Duff (assuming that means what the movie trailer for that said it means). Hopefully you'll meet someone who feels the same way you about them! Good luck!

And YES its SO FUCKING CUTE. Its short for Phillippa :'D (and, in case it wasn't super evident from the clips and liveblogs, the bird-adjacent naming is because Chirp is a Lord of the Wing. Which means that, yes, her (and her cousin's) grandfather (who is VERY much alive), did, in fact, invent birds.)
