👑🎨💜 ℛ𝒶𝓅𝓊𝓃𝓏𝑒𝓁 💜🎨👑  Rapunzel is our resident art princess!! I love her paintings designed by Claire Keane💖 She’s also our first CGI princess which was an interesting challenge for me to get her features right! I mostly used her model and looked to Glen Keane’s concept art for some tips. I feel I did most of her features well but her lips were SO DIFFICULT! This also took me longer because CGI characters have so many more details than 2D characters 😤 But I love how her sleeves turned out 👹💖✨    Punzie doesn’t have many dresses in the movie but she does in her show! Do you have a favorite?    Or we could debate LONG HAIR or SHORT HAIR?!💇‍♀️

Character Studies: Rapunzel (Tangled)

Good evening everyone!!!

You see, while christmas time I’m super motivated with creating new art ;) Tonight I drew four sketches of princess Rapunzel, I used references from the movie and the TV show, since I love both styles.

Rapunzel is known as a girl full of optimism, creativity and hope in every situation, what is a true inspiration for me. She sees the positive sides in every person and is open for new friends. Raps is also a very sensitive person who has a good feeling for others, like she’s talented in giving other’s a good feeling, though some people could be annoyed of her open and free spirit. 

It’s wonderful that Raps is never the one who judges any strange person by their outer or a colder acting but looks inside them to learn to know their true character, cause there is always something behind a cover. I appreciate her!
