@smoked-salmon-official i have been meaning to get the DTIYS drawn for weeks and now i got it!!!!!!!!!!!!! i drew your Crosshairs & sketched Pointblank designs and used the G1 Rebirth design for Sureshot as i do not believe there is a Dying Light design for him.

i loved drawing this and i'm so happy to have drawn this continuity again :D

old targetmaster au w the g1 guns

first doodles I did. mainly soundwave not knowing how to deal with how widdle shocks and megs are. he canonically absolutely does not act like this. but i like to think he has a very strong response to cuteness and he just masks it constantly.. he must not let the beast be known..

I don't have plans of continuing this au anymore so I'll just dump about it here.

Basically it follows the way the targetmasters and their partners occurred in The Headmasters anime. due to a weird freaky event, they became binary bonded to a partner. I don't remember if it was just magic link or if Pointblank and his team actually just learned their language. Megatron got bonded to Starscream which would have lead to shenanigans of him making things up regarding what megatron was saying, trying to usurp megatron only for him to kick his ass. and Shockwave got bonded to Soundwave and they'd basically have to try and help Megatron actually run the decepticons while also looking for a way to reverse the process. I really did't have many plans for this other than the bits so if anyone wants to mess with it be my guest.

Nexus Prime became a Combiner as a result, but are there any dimensions where he (or Thirteen, including you) was a Combiner, Titan, Headmaster, Targetmaster or Powermaster?

My brother Nexus Prime can divide and recombine himself in countless different ways, but it is rare for him to specifically separate his head to become its own being—and even if he did, the greatest benefit of the Headmaster process is the bringing together of two different beings with their own perspectives, creating a greater view of the world than either could manage alone.

There is, however, an exception: in one divergent timeline, Nexus was critically wounded in our battle with Unicron, the dark giant's Dead End antibodies converging on him and crushing his cranial unit as he provided cover for our assault on Unicron's core. When the battle was ended, we mourned the loss of one of our own—but Micronus, ever insightful, realised that Nexus's spark still burned. To save his life, Micronus used the power of his Chimera Stone to bond with Nexus, changing to become a new head for our brother's dormant body; Nexus Prime was reborn, becoming Modus Prime, a new being that was not the same as either of their predecessors. I admit to having trouble adjusting to the change, at first; it was Onyx Prime, who was always close to Micronus, who helped me to see how Nexus and Micronus lived on in our new sibling.

As for the rest of we Primes, the most common sort of bonding we undergo is that of the Battle Master; for instance, Safeguard's starfighter mode doubles as a Galactic Forceblaster for me to wield, while Solus Prime has been aided in her smithing by the hammer form of Malleus Minotaurus. Otherwise, my sister Metroprime has been referred to as a "Titan" in the past for her mighty frame—and, of course, Energoa's studies of the energies of the universe have often led her to investigate the science of binary-bonding. I remember one time that she bonded with a Headmaster, Targetmaster and Powermaster at the same time—no foe in the universe could stand against that triple threat!

On July 25th, 2025, Deluxe Age of the Primes Sureshot was revealed to the public at San Diego Comic-Con!

This was revealed on Day 46 of my count!

On February 8th, 2026, I found Sureshot in-store!

Design for nightstick (g1 cyclonus' targetmaster real name terry masterson)

Headmaster's underappreciated cousin, terry got the short end of the stick genetically, and got bad eyesight, bad posture and ages really poorly but he's a complete genius when it comes to alien tech even accessing the extranet using earth tech and making a friend.

Terry masterson is the son of a previous relationship mega (of overlord fame) had with a full human before she met giga and is seen as something of a brown spot in his parent's history, inexperienced with raising children at the time, mega was unable to raise him properly even though she always wanted kids. So in addition to terry's own health issues he developed an inferiority complex and loose morals, which led him to fall in with his criminal uncle for support and cut his mother out of his life,

Under lord Zarak's roof he continued being neglected in favor of Zarak's own son henry until Henry's untimely death. Then the attention started going towards his step sister, making her sever whatever care she had for him before and leaving Terry to work on his projects alone in the dark, eventually he created a signal booster that gave him access to the greater internet-esque superstructure outside of earth that he called the extranet, using it to learn more about alien technology and communicate with other users, he eventually made a friend in the decepticon catfish cyberwarp, never one of her targets, just coincidentally frequenting the same online spaces she did outside of work the two became each other's closest friends (and maybe more) out of shared interests

With the information terry uncovered within the extranet he began developing weapons that greatly overpowered anything on earth, his most notable creation and the source of his nickname the nightstick was a gun that can snuff out light and radiation, mostly harmless for humans but deadly against transformers as their sparks are made out of light and radiation.

The nightstick can be inserted into a larger superstructure called the nebulon that not only empowers it's beam but also stores the stolen light and radiation within itself, functionally it is a crude spark extractor, and it's use in warfare for the transformers elicits the same reaction mustard gas would to a human which earns him if not direct enemies at least fear and distrust within the sixclan but unbeknownst to him Tarantulas, Ida, and Navi-ko have a certain fondness for him but because of their secretive ways he never benefits from it,

Terry has become a very depressive person, with cyberwarp and a few other online friends inadvertently being the only things keeping him in the path of vilany as his signal booster does take more energy than available on the electric grid, making him dependent on the six clan to be able to talk to his friends. If the autobots could provide him with enough power for his signal booster he'd hop ship immediately. As he doesn't really buy the six clan's mission or decepticon ideology, he just wants to survive
