-Be me, a grown woman careening toward middle age who happens to enjoy smut fanfiction.

-My mother suggests we watch the show Taskmaster, a British panel show that I know people are crazy for but I have not yet seen.

-My mother, a PRUDE prude, admits she has a crush on Alex Horne and doesn’t like when Greg is mean to him.

-I take one look at that fucking BDSM house and realize exactly why the fandom is so crazy for this show.

-Three days later and I’m 10 pages deep into AO3 rpf and regretting every decision I’ve ever made

I wish I could draw/had money rn for commissions because I have SUCH a clear image in my head of like:

- Alex as a little marionette with rosy cheeks and clear joins on his woodwork, knock-kneed and looking anxious

-Greg above him, operating his strings and making him dance

-but then above Greg is the REAL Alex, who is actually controlling the strings on Greg

Bonus points if the puppet strings double as their red string of fate

I think the funniest thing about the “things do change” quote is that it’s already a running gag that Greg is always trying to get Alex in trouble with his wife in the intros.

The seeds of Greg as a homewrecker were always there…

Britcom RPF Exchange

A fic and art exchange for all fandoms under the British Comedian RPF fandom umbrella. This first round will be run on a semiflash schedule, with a planned full round for mid-2026. Minimum work requirements are one complete fanfic of at least 500 words, or one nice sketch of original art, digital or traditional, on clean, unlined paper.

For this exchange, a Fandom can be the main umbrella British Comedian RPF fandom, or it can also be any relevant shows, such as Would I Lie To You? RPF, or Taskmaster RPF if you want to specify the relationship within the context of that show or time period. For example, if you want Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton within The League of Gentlemen time period, you would nominate those two as characters under The League of Gentlemen RPF fandom. If you want the same people during Inside No.9 period, then they would be nominated under Inside No.9 RPF, and so on.

Happy (late?) Valentines! Here's a colored MS Paint doodle. I was supposed to add lineart, but I got carried away with the sketch... and I was too satisfied with how I sketched a certain part of the drawing. Hint: tummy hair.

Alex wasn't supposed to have his hands on Greg's jugs, but somehow it ended up that way. Please forgive me.
