I feel bad for max/electro like everyone treated him like shit and his only "friend" was talking to imaginary spider-man.

I don't care if y'all think i'm nuts but I feel like if he had someone from the start to help him he never would have been a villain...

Right but what if when Andrew!Peter and Electro return to their reality, Max is just plopped with Peter ten or so years into his future, sans electro powers, and officially dead, and Peter is just like, “That’s fine. You can stay with me :)” and takes him back to the hidden Roosevelt railway where he’s been squatting since, oh, three years after college was it?, and Max needs a second to process, like, “I was envious of this guy’s life?”

Aw man. I'm sorry to do this, because I know how rude it is to turn down a Yes And, but I think it's safe to say that for TASM's Peter, mutating other people is a categorical No after Dr. Connors. He will not do it.

Maybe Max could get some of his old powers back due to multiverse contrivance, or he could become a purely gear character, like he and Peter could work together to make him some armored gauntlets that pew pew electricity.
